I don’t think Aftermath managed to match Riot’s kill count of 20 mobs this cycle, but we never include the splitting horses in Plane of Sky in our kill lists.

For the unaware, Zlandicar spawned immediately entering his window. We kept a tracker online to mess with our friends in Riot. They preceded to track for the next 23 hours to our amusement, including poopsocking the remaining ~5 hours with upwards of 38+ in the zone at times.

After making this thread, their disdain for me was so great that they didnt believe me, despite them actually killing the previous Zlandi and having the timer, so even more Riot kept zoning in. They have yet to reply to this thread, an indication that the events must have gotten to them, deep within their soul.

We had discussed at length, and offered or agreed in principal to one or two proposals - including the one from Arth. The one we were not willing to agree to was a 6 or 7 slot rotation that included guilds who had never even attempted Tunare, let alone killed her.

You know as well as I did that when Tunare was less contested there was a gwbtleman’s Agreement to not even try and snipe another guild’s Tunare that was communicated in advance. All this tunare talk.. I would rotate tunare with the server because i feel its a raid everyone should enjoy and its good for the server. Its a worse deal for my guild and I still choose it because i want everyone to enjoy that type of a raid on classic EQ server.
Doesn't require socking or fte'ing etc. Things that some people arent interested in. It does however provide a great way to get loot and work together as a team. Used to be one of the few raids that required teamwork but now at least ToV is more like that and requires a team effort.

yes this is true and everybody that was there knows this was happening and that AM also had 70+ for most of the day and got outplayed but lets not let it detract from some important points

It funny when AM is able to pull zerg numbers on holidays or middle of then night off hour spawns to kill targets other guilds cant its just because "they are better than everybody and they have members in all time zones and countries around the world."

But yesterday when they got beat handily all day in ToV now suddenly an American holiday affected their zerg numbers. Their numbers were a lil lower than usual but still plenty high usually having around 70-80 versus 120ish of Ag/riot. Worse, I think. 5am until 3am or so getting Lady M and losing Vulak, Vyemm, Statue, AoW, Zlandi, Kreizrenn, Feshlak, Koi, and a couple of other things that died to either AG, Riot, or AG + Riot. Or spending time with family and sleeping as Monrezz calls it.

whats actually pathetic is spending all day in ToV with the "top raid guild" on a private emulated nostalgia server of an ancient video game during memorial day weekend ignoring all your friends and family (if you have any) and only getting 1 dragon out of it

and despite what they would like you to believe frequently fielding a force of 100+ players under 1 guild tag to kill targets that require 50~ish people is not doing more with less

Depends on which boss we are talking about. Of the rooted bosses in ToV, I would wager Dagarn is one of the easiest. I guess I'd say 30-40 is a suitable kill force for him? Then Vyemm is probably the hardest and I'd guess I wouldn't want less than 60-70 on him. Just my 2 cents anyway on those numbers though.

Of course all this changes quite a bit when you're trying to kill the boss along with guards at the same time, especially Vulak whose guards actually flurry, but that wasn't your question so I'm not gonna get into that.

And therefore Core was forced to totally abandon any idea of fighting with appropriate numbers (on TAKP, it took about 25-30 boxes to clear TOV, although we did have Spiritual Purity) and merge with not one but two guilds, while Aftermath is recruiting hard? Do people enjoy this more or less than the DA pulls and mage coh?

Also: Detoxx, my hat is off to you! I would have tried to keep the size of my guild under control. But somehow P99 meta always ends up favoring larger and larger zergs. Nice call.

60-80 players. 100 to trivialize the chances of wiping. Yea it could all be done hypothetically with 40 min/maxed but the trash clear is very slow with low DPS. It wouldn't be worth the time added to go lower than 60.

Yea that's pretty much the meta now. Seems more players like it than not by the RNF poll (70% pro-rooting, 30% anti-rooting). Never would have thought it but there's more players than ever raiding on blue.
