Finally hit page 3.
Should add the raid rules to the 'Getting Started' (https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2651) thread

I copy and pasted the raid rules into a thread one time and was banned for it. Seems our overlords are a bit sensitive about their wall of text they have created.

“If you are forum banned, this is not an invitation to make a new account and continue posting. Instead, do not get banned in the first place.”
Someone tell me why swish is still posting here then

I truly believe it's time for the rules (all of them, including the raid ones) to move to the wiki. The relevant pages can be admin locked to prevent abuse, but the wiki is just so much better suited toward displaying documents, plus you can easily link to zones/mobs/etc. discussed in the rules.

For instance, which of these do you think is better?

you could also just endow the wiki with a section containing links to releVant iNfirmatjon. this would prevent gerry{mandarin and allow stafff to update as needed as well... also.... and then.

I actually do most of the cooking in our house.
And yes, the computer is in a living room which is connected to the kitchen, so I can (and have) worked on the wiki while in the middle of preparing a meal :D

I agree - I would rather actively scroll for 2-3 hours reading raid rules versus clicking <Next Page>

I prefer the one not littered with comics and pictures

They're just meant to be a "proof of concept" of how the rules page could be "jazzed up" in the wiki in a way that they can't (easily) in the forum. But even so, I personally think they improve the page. Even if you never read them, the page just feels much more inviting and friendly to me than the giant wall of text in the forum.
But to each their own.
