We're a casual guild with some casual raiding, and plenty of solid guild groups going on often. We also do the occasional fun event with prizes. Castle's main goal is to provide a community of fun & solid members who like to group and level together.

Thickcut, Level 4 Ranger, just made this character yesterday. Gonna be a long climb on this character, would be nice to have friends to do it with. Eventual goals are to do some planar raiding for armor (eventually replace with Velious gem armor) and work towards my Epic. Will eventually roll a Paladin as well once I scrounge together some funds to gear it. Right now I'm just surviving on the humble rusty short sword and cloth armor, as we all once did.

Aye we have a couple options on the table Thick, currently talking to a GM to see if they can put a perma snare on your character and making you immune to sow. If this fails, we may resort to plan {B}: level shaming!

Hi folks. I've been trying to relive the old days as closely as possible. In 1999 on Wiltan, I formed a guild before I could even /surname. The <Lightseekers> was a group of so-called "evil" class/race folks striving for redemption (which, for the most part, was through faction hits/quests).

Having a dark elf necro who could shop in Felwithe was fun, but ultimately I'm not sure I wan't to go THAT far towards reliving the past. Still, I was in a guild at this point: the P99 version of Wiltan is just about level 19 now (well, maybe three or four lava basilisks from now). I've gone solo thus far, but it's been quiet. Too quiet? Maybe.

Looking over the list of casual guilds, yours caught my eye. Not just because it was at the top of the list on the wiki page, but you got that going for you.... but because the forums seem active and friendly, and the comments from non-members seemed positive.

Happy to talk about it further in game. I play weird hours; sometimes during the day, sometimes after midnight Eastern. I'm on right now, if anyone watches this actively. Look me up.

We will be diving into all aspects of the game, up to and including raiding.

Above all, we will maintain the pillars of Blue <Castle>:
• Maintaining a peaceful and comfortable guild chat (no slurs, no rage, take it to tells)
• Noob-friendly guild
• Abide by all Project 1999 server policies
• Bring pride upon our name, Soandso

I just had someone ask me about <Castle> who lives in Europe. Also, <Castle> Blue has several odd-hours US-based players as well. I find it hard to predict what our numbers will be like. With the initial population of Green projected at 2,000-4,000, perhaps we could build a strong population 24/7. If a cadre of European-based players would like to be part of <Castle> Green, I would love that.

We've got members across the US and Canada; but also a pretty significant number in other time zones, as well as a significant number of US-time-zone folks who have unusual work schedules. Try /w all castle during typical EST questing hours and the list will probably be cut short (20+) every day of the week. Try it at odd hours and it might still be 20+.

I'm proud to announce that <Castle> successfully took down Brother Qwinn for the first time on Green in an unplanned late-night effort. I know for a fact as I was the one getting punched in the face by him for several rounds.

Hey Yummm, our doors (or drawbridge?) are always open to an awesome invested player looking for some adventures. Necros are amazing and can 100% save the day on a raid or be a versatile asset in most any group. Your best bet for getting an invite is just messaging any player in Castle (just /who all castle) the next time you’re on and asking if they can direct an officer to reach out. If that doesn’t get you going we can add a note to the discord, but messaging while your on is usually the most efficient way to match up times.
