I'm 100% convinced screaming terror has a charisma component to it, but it's not supposed to. I've never seeen a root resisted more than once on a blue and I used it 10 times more than sceaming terror.

P99's random number generator has always been streak-prone. That's what got you. Happens to everyone from time to time. Couple days ago the wife had 22 slow resists in a row (we counted) against a blue-con monster that was already malo'd. It happens.

ST and every other classes mez should have a secondary check on cha unsure if that's implemented here though.

Wife ran out of mana, she had to canni/torpor it back up while I kited big bob around. Only reason we even tried was because I still had SOW on and could manage it (Shadow Knight, so ranged aggro is no problem), otherwise we would've had to cap out. As it was we had to cap anyway when we got adds due to the lengthy delay. That's exceptional, and normally slow on the same things lands within half a dozen attempts or so, but streaks like that happen (for good or for bad) sometimes.

Can confirm -- Master gater here (huhu) 235 alteration, fully specialized 200 alteration -- still fails only when inconvenient or I'm on the run from something that wants to tear my ass.

On a unrelated to necro luck note.... I know I hate wizards... but my wizard seems to be the unluckiest retard wizard ever.... I have NEVER EVER had as many gate collapses on all of my other casters than on my wizard.... I have even had gate collapse 3, THREE TIMES IN A ROW on my wizard, its like hes a port class, but hes teleport retarded
