Anyone care to research these?

- Barrier of Force will now stack with Protection of the Glades.
- Manaskin and Protection of the Glades will now stack.

July 10, 2001
- Stacking issues with 'change form' type spells have been corrected.
Lich and Clarity will no longer stack, nor will Spirit of Wolf and Wolf
Form.

Lich and Clarity were fixed in era so I assume for simplicity/balance we have been using their final form. This is opposed to something like item recharging which was fixed out of era after EQ had begun it's march toward something else. Don't care about the sow thing.

Do BoF/POTG and MS/POTG currently not stack here? If that is the case either it's not happening for balance reasons or is being saved as a kicker at the very end of velious. No need to research anything really patch notes are pretty cut and dry.

They do stack, and shouldn’t, going by that note.

And lich and clarity should stack, but don’t. Going by that note.

We're past date in the timeline where those two sets of spells were fixed. So if they stack then seems all is in order.

Either Lich/Clarity stacking both mana regens was deemed too powerful. Or while both would appear as active only the highest mana regen would take effect in reality. Reading spell files I'm inclined to side with the latter although I wish I could read those old spdat.eff from 1999-2001.



p.s. if you know the struct to those old .eff be a pal and let me know. Seriously I've tried everything but turning into a_Secrets002.
