Dualboxer - Wany and Euny - and AC Thief.

Hi all. Anyone know this guy?

Character "Wany" dualboxes with his high elf "Euny". He also steals the AC spawn, hides it on island, and then logs his alts to stash the rings. Today, I am quite sure he destroyed the ring on his main Wany when he found me watching him and calling him out.

I hope that this will be dealt with swiftly, because these players ruin it for all of us. He let the line build up to 6 people while camping for 5 hours today, each time saying he was getting no spawns. It took some rather covert action to find out what he was actually doing.

I hope justice is swift.

Same, and a list 6 deep for AC isn't really unusual either. At least it wasn't last time I camped it a year or so ago.

I've also done the 12 hour run with no spawn. Shits real, cant speak for whoever you saw and if they were boxing or where they were pulling it too. But 6 hours or whatever without a pop is completely within reason.

Is Euny a cleric? Pretty sure that's the guy I saw boxing in CB when one of his characters was just starting. He would sit on the corner on top of trainer hill, looking down at wall and castle entrance and heal and buff his similarly named character that was killing at the wall solo. Glad he's still doing his nefarious deeds unchecked. A+

Ever notice that even though boxing is disallowed on the server, boxers always make it super obvious by naming their characters very similarly? I had an experience like this years ago with some dude boxing a warrior and shaman to kill an epic mob for one of his alts, and all 3 character names were something like a whopping 1 letter off each other.

The spirit of the game is that you CAN do terrible things. You CAN. It is in place. It isn't like a modern mmo where there are systems in place to stop things like this. The CHOICE of the players, that is what makes this game good, I think at least.

You can corpse them provided nobody else has interest in the camp, if you have a list or people who want the camp (according to this old rules post) you cant at that time corpse them to continue camping it

If you are the only one there and nobody else has come along or is there waiting for the camp then corpse them all you want

I feel you're really making a false appeal to authority.

The spirit of the game is that rare items are intended to be camped then moved on from, allowing the next player to experience the content. That is the entire reason of the lore mechanic.

Corpsing is just a work around discovered because the original developers either didn't give much thought as to how to accrue duplicates of an item while only having one inventoried at a time, underestimated the sneakiness of players that would find the work around or knew the futility of fighting against such behaviour meant they only bothered implementing the low hanging fruit incentives for not farming lore MQs for no drop items.
