I am completely confident in saying that Heresy never used the zone CMD hack to crash players or bring a zone down. Yes that happened to us but we never did it, Heresy was not squeaky clean but we definitely didn't do anything that requires computer hacking skills like that.

We aren't wanting another VZTZ, that server had so many holes in it and was halfway broke most of the time. We basically want a p99 with PVP enabled, pretty basic and simple. I am confident that the people I ran with will all play and stop kids like you to the ground.

Yea that's why I'm asking. Particularly resists are very difficult to get right from what I understand.

Isn't there some decent code from what's left of the VZTZ trashpile that covers resists/AC and other mechanics like that!?

I'm not that familiar with VZTZ (I can admit it) but I would assume they would have some information of the type.

The thing is, which I hope you red guys understand (and I think most of you do) is, you don't want to rush this server, have it shit the bed and be back to square one. Do it right the first time around and you'll probably have a great population.

Lololol I played on a 28.8 connection until Luclin, at which point cable modems finally came into my area. It's hard to tank when all you see is a bunch of people running into walls. After getting broadband, face melting increased exponentially, I became PDM MT, etc etc

A separate server for testing would be ideal. If that doesn't happen I have a few lvl 50s on P99 that I can use to help test stuff. Would need some pvp experts to help figure out what exactly needs to be fixed as I don't know how it is "supposed" to work.
