Have you tried not being a useless hippie?

Explore a zone that you avoided so far. That's really fun, but you have to build your own group for that.

Dang man.. That's a pretty good sign it might be time.. I am happy and content 100% of the time when i'm online, so i know my time is not yet. But one day that feeling will wash over us all.. Just accept it! Embrace it :)

Moment of silence for Jauna... Today he questions life, his future, past, and whether or not he can afford a new cpu build for Pantheon......

Existential dread is a growth process that too many fear.

Thats like half true. Debating on upgrading my PC or getting a dark elf to go with my albino wood elf who invented glasses.
aw man the pic is too big to post here

But I guess I can use my newfound free time to get over my fear of biting into bruised apples.

Play something else. The 90's had more games than just EQ if you really want the nostalgia fix.

Maybe these ideal circumstances made it boring. Sometimes odd group compositions in tough areas with significant but manageable problems are more fun!

chances are this guy is just sending a mage pet and watching the action
clearly he isn't pulling tanking or doing CC
try a different role or game

Play a bard, and be the best damn bard you can be...i've made a rogue and its fun as hell. It's so simple and mindless I love it.

Just try something new. This shit is obviously a big part of your depression. Shed it and move the fuck on. And NOT to another fucking game. Just. Move. On. You seem younger, so there's that.
Seriously man, life passes you by. And it does so with more haste than a Ranger's backside. GO. GO. GO.
There are other worlds than this.

Give in and try red, there's still hope for you.

I see this suggestion a lot, and not sure if serious, but if serious - when I go to login screen, there are like 10-15 people o Red. Total. I would imgine there would be great freedom, having most of EQ totally to yourself, but I doubt it would make finding groups any easier?
So...serious, or not serious?

You know how some memes go too far and some people dedicate their lives to a meme not out of dedication but obsession?
That is basically all Swish is. Everyone else, including the players gave up on red 6-7 years ago. It shoulda been more apparent when Rise of Zek came out and killed what was left of it even more but.. no.

Gotcha. Still learning this forum's landscape and cast of characters.
Meme that will not die. Understood.

I've played on red a bunch of times.
I enjoy soloing so that works for me.
But, it's soooo lonely.
The ooc is server wide! That way you know someone else is alive on there.
soooooo lonely. <sniff>

yeah, but if you played EQ did you really play any of those? it was hard enough to sleep and go to middle school with EQ

Just eq and half life/counter strike back then. No other games.
Maybe Starcraft and Age of Empires, but that's it.
