I think the problem here is that in order to manipulate prices, all you have to do is ask some exorbitant fee X amount of times in the tunnel.

Data collection for the wiki is kind of messed up in this regard, or maybe I just don't understand it enough. If it could somehow report completed transactions for items versus what gougers like Kyndal are asking, I would think it'd solve multiple problems. Really that would require either the buyer or the seller to document how much was paid / received for the sale, which I don't see people ever taking the time to do.

On a bad day my druid pulls in 300pp an hour porting people, 500pp farming, or 1000pp PLing. Kyndal has spent at least 40 hours over the last three weeks posting his CoS in EC. In other words, he could have made anywhere from 12 to 40k by doing anything else, assuming he has only been actively auctioning it for 40h.
