lost items

i am wondering about this, i just bought 4k worth of items, and dropped it in a safe place, logged off that account onto my new one (the first account i dropped the items off of is not my account dad/wifes account) and i logged onto my other account, took about 5 mins inbetween about, and the bags are not there, i dont think anyone picked the items up because it was way far away from others

anyways, can the devs reimburse these items? theres only 3 items of the bunch i care about, but after selling my shaman i am starting from scratch, but i was on my rog only to discover the items are gone

This. There really isn't enough time anymore to drop trade between two accounts. I was xfering a few things to a toon on the same account recently, but got booted to login, and the stuff was still gone by the time I got back in. It was just a couple stacks of stat food, though.

Generally you can ask some high level to transfer for you....not everyone here is a jackass.

it sucks, I recently lost 3 crafted bags in nek due to dropping then had the at&t crash no server issue.
Lost a full suit of med banded, azure sleeves, serp bracers and some other gear I dropped for my newbie shadow knight.

Haven't played sense. Partially because I'm bummed about the loss but mostly because of having AT&T and can't get on anyways.

yea would stink if they did indeed rot, which is what i am think what happend, was sorta ticked it happend, went trancing around my house, smoked 4 cigs in a row...but rebought some of the lost things

i was on my paps char Emong, so the log will show emong dropped em...

From what I *heard* if the zone is uninhabited the items will rot once you camp out. IE if I'm only person in Unrest and I drop something for an alt, then the zone goes to 0 people in Unrest it won't save the dropped items. *but* this is just rumor.

Yea, as Hobby said. Hit up a level 50 generally is a safe bet, they aren't all jackasses.

I have never had a problem giving items to someone in a reputable guild for my alt. I have some faith in the fact that there would be consequences by GMs if they did steal from you after they took advantage of your trust. I've done up to 13k plat transfers with no problems. Most people will just joke about /qing after you hand it to them.

I cannot agree with this. I used to routinely drop transfer between my druid and cleric. It no longer works. I started a thread about this a couple weeks ago and several people agreed that they have trouble now. It may not have been intentional, but something changed.

The obvious workaround is to make a friend.
