According to the department of health, a 6'0" grown ass man that weighs 140lb is considered a healthy weight.

Most of us are fat by 1930 standards.

This is true, however a person who is actually in control of their weight knows it is otherwise. The DoH BMI calculators don't factor in muscle mass. I'm not really sure what your point is other than the BMI calculator is terrible.

However, because you posted in this thread, congratulations on not being fat :)

This year I put on 20 pounds during bulking season and have lost all of the excess fat.

Well said my fellow non-fat.

I use coconut crystals when I desire a granulated sweetener. High in minerals and low glycemic index. Of course, I also have high quality honey for other purposes.

Literally no sugar in my house

Boom. Non-Fatty here! Success story time- Skateboarding and sports kept me active all my life. High School ended, and I fell off.. 1 Meal a day, consisting of a proper wendy's run. Multiple burgers, ranch dressings and fries. Then i fell off the skateboarding game, why? Cause that sticky icky... Went through that phase in my 20's.. Then in the late 20's. My hair game was slippin. That shit was thinning.. I decided at that point, you can't be fat AND bald. 1 or the other is ok, but not both. So it began. Right then and there. Ran every day at an empty hospital lot. Did pull ups on a tree branch every lap. And that's a rap! Now i'm in the gym 6 days a week, making proper gains, and smashin those healthy calories. I look good, and feel good. I was 165 and 5'8 at my unhealthiest. I'm now 145 and 5'8 at my healthiest. Lean, and mean. Psyche i'm lean, and very nice :)

@Patriam1066- "God Bless Texas"

True that. Just got back from a vacation in your hood. What a beautiful place man. I was born in Washington where it couldn't be any more different. First stop was San Antonio. Such a typical Texas feeling. Then I spent the rest of my time in Austin. Honestly can't believe Austin is even in texas haha. Austin definitely has a Seattle vibe that i'm familiar with. I put on 10 lbs last month the second my supply ran out. That’s taken care of now. I thought I looked pretty good 10 lbs ago so I’m gonna go ahead and lose another 20. Walked 6 mi today and only had 2.50 of a 5 dollar foot long to eat so basically I’m gonna be fat forever.

If you’re on the hormones, most of the new fat you gain will go to your tits and ass... which is a good thing!

Man, I was doing fantastic last year while I was working downtown. A quick 5K run around the waterfront for lunch? Money.

That said, I am over 40 now, so my knees, feet and back didn't much care for that nonsense running. This year has been pretty meh so far, aside from eating healthy (I cook, so no issues there). I am overweight in the sense that I feel and look not ideal (to me). It is so fucking hard at this age, but like anything, you are the only one with the power to promote change.

So, what I did was this: Since my body can't handle the jarring punishment of running anymore, I did a DIY "Peloton" spin bike. With the bluetooth sensors, bike, iPad, SPD pedals and a new pair of shoes, it ran just over $600, compared to the $2500+ of the fancy Peloton, and only ~$12/mo for the app, which has all the live and archived classes you can ask for.

Fun stuff, and way easier on my aging badass self. :) Google DIY Peloton for all the information you need--most folks buy the same components. Well worth it, and spin classes are actually quite fun, even if the music isn't always good.

Oh, and I am 5'8 and 185, for reference. That isn't a happy lean muscle 185. Not terrible, but I am certainly not super stoked since I've always been not fat.

I really felt it this ski season, so made a commitment to be not only ready for next ski season, but ready to shred from the getgo.

Goals, baby.

stating for the record that I feel gyms are gay

I loved when I worked for the sheriff's department with a bunch of fatties (honestly more mind wise than their actual bodies). They had a legit little gym under the jail that I ALWAYS had to myself. Never had to wait for a rack, never had to listen to someone else's music, never had to rerack someone else's shit, and I could audibly celebrate after that last rep that took my soul to accomplish.

Will be going to a very nice gym here soon (last minute job traveling lately has prevented me from making it in).

I'll tell you what a typical day looks like for me:

5:00am - I spring out of bed. 1200 thread count sheets. No bed head (superior hair genes). I make my bed because Jordan Peterson taught me right.

5:05am - 400 lb deadlifts for breakfast. 25 sets. Fast. Lactic acid instead of coffee.

5:10am - Run 7 miles through the richest neighborhood you've seen.

5:30am - Walk dog. Pure breed German Shepard. Even his poop is perfect.

5:40am - Kiss my hot model girlfriend as she leaves for work at her lawyer job.

5:45am - Cold Shower, shocks the system releasing amino acids and good junk for the body.

5:46am - Log into EQ.

Midnight - Log off EQ.

12:15am - Call a few business clients and make some sales $$$

2:00am - Eat a granola bar, only food I eat for the day because I'm healthy and on the go.

3:00am - Go to sleep because getting a full 8 hours of sleep is the healthy basis for a good life.

5:00am - Wake up and repeat, only doing things better. Maybe buy a Lambo with Bitcoin.

Fatty here. I ate an apple like 2 weeks ago and my stomach still isn't right. My mom finally bought that can of compressed air so the cheez doodle dust that was stuck under my 'KL:" keys is gone and I feel like a new man. Unfortunately the mountain dew I spilled all over my mouse and mouse pad has still left me unable to right click. I'll keep you guys posted about the whole MD situation.

PS. I think this russian chick I been talking to in yahoo chat likes me, after sending her $500 to fix her car she sent me a picture of her face. I think she's a model cause it had a shutterstock logo printed on it. #i'mdatingamodell
