Why are higher levels so toxic?

I suck at this game and recently came back from not playing for a while. I decided to make a barbarian warrior and enjoy myself. What a mistake.

3) Take many screenshots and logs of said meltdown

Everfrost is by far the worst noob area for an untwinked level 1. The easier path is bum a port to WC off a druid in Everfrost, get bound in WFP, then ride the buffs from people in the tunnel to level 10.

One of my first p99 encounters was some guy shouting a bunch of hate speech in an open channel. It was unfortunate to see that, but anger and alcohol have a pretty compounding effect.

This is a solid point. I have a group of friends that adore shooters, and about a month ago I got PUBG to play with them. The opening minute of every round before you parachute in is a blatantly, no-holds-barred, no-pulled-punches race war on server side voice chat. There is a prominent Asian presence on voice and... good god. Some of the stuff I've heard there (while fucking hilarious) has no place being said to anyone else with a soul.

By comparison, people here are saints.

If you are unhappy with your race/class combo - there's plenty of others to try.

Yes, some zones have a large spectrum of level ranges in monsters that may attack you wandering about.

Yea, I dunno man. People here ain't so bad. Never had a problem with higher level folks inside the game - most have been downright pleasant to interact with.
