View Full Version : EQ login music has satanically possessed me

I sometimes find myself inhaling and exhaling through my nose to the rhythm of EQ Loading Screen music. Inside my head, the pitch rises and fall to the testicle binding melody we all know and love (and fear). I logged into EQ last night for the first time in a month, and now, while building a flowchart, I found myself and sniffing along to the EQ login music. There are no drugs involved and I simply realized the destitution of my soul as I went to the kitchen to add potatoes to my beef goulash and realized I was hopping lightly from foot to foot as my spirit soared, sniffling out the epic music that has satanically possessed my being

remember old dvd's where you would fall asleep and the movie ends. then it plays the music at the play menu over and over and over all night till you finally wake up and that song is etched into your brain forever. thats what your story reminds me of
Happened to me only once, movie was Donnie Darko. Was like my fifth time watching it. Kind of ironic given the plot

This music has crashed your brain waves.
Can't a 60 halfling warrior with noting to do log in to Karnor's Castle to harass young monks earning XP and medallions without the grizzly spectre of addiction?

Qeynos not wry. My autocorrect hates qeynos but I have no idea where wry came from.

Its called brain rot - welcome to the next level of immersion - you will be a mighty pixel lord for years to come
I don't know why he fights it at this point.
It's a sign of maturity (and old age) when you finally realize you are what you are, and just accept it. Do not fight yourself.

This one surprised me when I accidentally stumbled upon it:
The composer of the original EQ music also invented a wireless MIDI/synth system for the electric guitar. He had a Kickstarter campaign that slipped under everyone's radar...

Dude my nature is not someone who succumbs. I break those addictions and then realize what I am trying to fill or palliate with the escape. Then, I confront it.
I love playing games though and have discovered how to play them in a healthy way.
Its just startling to me to notice how deep my neurology has been wired by EQ music.
Stay woke pal.

I created a czech goulash of beef and potato and vegetable focusing on a tomato based sauce spiced with paprika. It is a traditional family recipe passed down from my Moravian ancestors who immigrated to Texas during the Napoleonic wars in order to spare the women of our family, women of great beauty, from the marauding hands of the raping French invaders.

It'd been a while since I visited his page so I was glad to see new videos and sheet music posted. Makes me want to remix some of the EQ music now; similar to something I was doing with some of the original Meridian 59 music a few years ago...

Any particular "remix" requests? So far I see Kelethin in potential #1 place.
Here's an example from a game that pre-dated EQ on the MMORPG scene by a few years, originally debuting on the failed 3DO game console...I don't exactly do dubstep though... :p

Huh, ok, I'll check that out. I have yet to find a decent goulash since the Hungarian place closed nearby. *no hi-jack* I still not turning EQ music on though.
