So, I was accused of making a flaming rant over in the bugs:spawns forum. Well, here's my flaming rant for comparison.

Why is it so important to the Rampage/Aftermath/Awakened guild leaders and members to rub innocent bystanders noses in their self-proclaimed victories? 99% of us are not now, never have been, and don't ever want to be competing against you... on a PvE server. What gives, guys? Mommy issues? Small penis syndrome? I just don't understand your aggression - toward people who have never interacted with you in a competitive way. NO ONE WAS COMPETING WITH YOU GUYS FOR SERVER FIRST, <Rampage>!!! NO ONE. No guid on this server was anywhere near your size and scope. Not a single one. I could understand some competitive attitude if there were two (like there is now with A/A), but waking the sleeper to punish second place? WHAT SECOND PLACE?! THERE WAS NO second place. How shallow must you be to lash out at the community you are already raping for epic pieces?

I pity you. Get over yourselves already.

And what got into Nilbog? Did he have a stroke? I mean seriously. I would expect Haynar to gank the community this way because he has a history of it, but Nilbog? *facepalm* I used to respect you, man.

Did someone make a large "donation" to the server fund to get this patch? (I'm not implying bribes. That'd be against the rules. I'm insinuating something underhanded happened, using bribery as a metaphor.)

As for calling my post a flaming rant, well... my mother (now on her deathbed from a massive stroke last spring) use to tell me (before the dimentia took over): when the bullies target you, rejoice; because that means they are leaving someone else alone.

I think you should have posted your original rant here, also that rant seems to be of a different cloth than this rant, why change the rant? The first rant was sensible and presented a lot of techical EQ nerd stuffs that people get passionate about arguing over... that should have been placed here.

The biggest culprits to server unhappiness is not A/A, it's these middle of the road "casual" guilds that are ran by pixel-fueled neckbeards holding mid tier content hostage from actual casuals.

In fact, you ought to be glad A/A happens to farm some epic pieces occasionally because they actually offer epic MQs for less than the "casual raid" guilds do, who have taken the price of every easy to farm epic MQ piece and inflated the price by 300% in the last 2 years while removing any chance a small low tier raid guild has at ever getting epic pieces for their members on their own.

What Franswa said, I don't like to go about defending Detoxx and Forsaken but they were there and tried :p snagged a few server firsts also. You should rly leave server history out of your rant posts because it shows extremely well that you were not there and have 0 clue what happened during velious launch leading up to the sleeper waking.

I farmed 8 elder beads and a dozen alliance necks before they were removed/nerfed. Became friends with a few of the other farmers of those items. Heard the dope about Rampage's activities from them. For the record:

1) 8 elder beads isn't a lot, considering one of the other farmers I had to wait in line behind (quite often) farmed over 30 before nerf. I never corpsed any other than my own at SS zl while I was there farming. I always gave up the camp after getting a set.

2) I didn't do it for plat. Gave four of them away to guild (<AG> at the time) or guild members. Only actually sold ONE set to reach the final 185k I needed to buy Z-heart (farmed the other 165k at seafuries, while maintaining peaceful relations there among the other farmers - I always shared my 2-4 spawns if new folks arrived, sometimes only doing one 12 minute spawn for a couple hours to give others a chance - best hours were 2am-5am EST when I sometimes had the whole island to myself).

On a semi-related note...

AG does have a cabal of pixel lusting neckbeards that run their zerg of koolaid drinkers all around gathering low/mid tier pixels but they only do it to gear their personal army of alts they have.

AG doesn't rule the server at all, just MQ epic items that actual casuals have no chance of getting thanks to AG hogging them all.

I also doubt RMT is involved, but wouldn't rule it out now that you mention it.

thats the only thing I have ever heard it meant. I don't think it makes much sense because most of A/A is casual too. The only difference between A/A and CSG is that A/A is able to effectively utilize their casuals and their neckbeards are better. In A/A there are small groups of people who orchestrate the wins and everybody else just has to log in for batphones, otherwise you are free to do whatever you want:play alts, read a book, make forum posts, sketch, shop, whatever float you boat ^^

All semantics (and flaming) aside, I believe the reason AG calls themselves casual is because we have no raid attendance requirements whatsoever. You don't have to raid, you don't have to log in for batphones, you don't have to have a minimum percentage for loot, just the dkp to win (although bids are limited for alts). The rules for Euro and Omni may be different, I don't know.

Also, CSG actually stands for Casual Scum Guilds. I don't think we take offense when people make fun of the name since it's specifically self-deprecating.

What gives, guys? Mommy issues? Small penis syndrome? I just don't understand your aggression - toward people who have never interacted with you in a competitive way. NO ONE WAS COMPETING WITH YOU GUYS FOR SERVER FIRST, <Rampage>!!! NO ONE. No guid on this server was anywhere near your size and scope. Not a single one. I could understand some competitive attitude if there were two (like there is now with A/A), but waking the sleeper to punish second place? WHAT SECOND PLACE?! THERE WAS NO second place. How shallow must you be to lash out at the community you are already raping for epic pieces?
