Maybe this guy doesn't know there's another camp to sit like vulture at. I personally never understood the hate on MQers. I respect those that want to camp their items for immersion sake, but MQer also providing a service for ppl like myself who would rather farm 5k plat than sit at a camp for potentially 20-30 hours straight. Also AC camp is not hard to get. You might not be able to walk up to it and take it for yourself, which seems like the mentality of some of these folks, but you will get it if you patiently wait.

don't nerf the MQ, bump up the AC. Secretly give him TOV Flurry drake dmg output and put the HP to 32050. Have him run at Bard speed and agro range increased to something similar to 'zone wide'. He'll also AE every 10 seconds what the Emp does in SSRA.

No greater remove curse in game so....you'll die no matter what.

Yup! Like most things EQ, it is all about patience and persistence.

It is baffling that people keep forgetting that and decide to blame other players AND have the other option of buying the MQs at a reasonable (I think) price.

I'd vote for Drelzna because classic; however can you imagine how ridiculous that camp would be? At least OOT is out of the way enough that the list is (usually) reasonable and (appears to) move quickly. I guess it wouldn't be the end of the zone since every time I go to Najena it's either empty or just 1-2 people xping and a mage bashing his head into the wall trying to get pages...

And regarding alts - you should be able to MQ it to yourself. Don't mobs hang on to trade items until they have the full set...? So just give him the ring and (rapier or gold), switch chars, catch him again and turn in the remainder? Hell I'm willing to test it - it's just a pita camping the AC as a cleric so it may take me a while to get another.

I mean when a quest takes 5 mins of time grants 10+% XP on a turn in, and you need to try to find a way to make it even faster you are one lazy self-entitled fuck.

When someone pulls a mob to the group, there is usually some sort of inherant risk involved for the puller, and game is working as intended.

When a high level forcibly moves a quest NPC from it's set position to root and snare it close to a zoneline to enable their pathetic lowbie cronies to run the quest in a manner it was never meant to be ran in, this is not working as intended.

Obviously the GMs here agreed with this sentiment, and nerfed the quest into oblivion so it's no longer worth doing because we clearly can't have nice things here, people exploit them when we do.

To answer your question, no I don't have one problem with a puller or a group constantly keeping mobs in the camp to kill non-stop. Pretty sure there's a big difference between that and the exploitive lazy shit people did with those bread quest NPCs.
