I voted for Swish. The younger folks may not remember this, but there was a time when Swish played on Blue, and back then all he ever posted were gifs, helpful information, and generally positive comments.

Then he started playing on Red, and it changed him :( ... but the poll did say "or was" so he still got my vote.

This poll is extremely limiting. You should have asked people to submit a list of 5 people they personally felt was/is most helpful on P99 then created a graph showing the results.

Here's my list:

1. Llanowars - a goodly ranger who freely helps people get Quillmane - free I say!

2. Bugaman - 60 lvl ogre warrior in Azure Guard that would dungeon crawl with lower levels doing all he could to help them get through the mid 50s to 60.

3. Cheich - another AG player who always helps others, will give MQ items for keys, advice when asked, just an all around nice player.

4. Aaldoran - Gives tons of knowledge freely regarding faction in the game, truly has put tons of work into digging up anything faction-related!

5. Michael's Shenanigans on YouTube. No one has created better, more immersive videos that really capture the soul of the game. Also highlights so many details that exist in the game we tend to barely notice with astounding explanations of the unknown.

I would say Kraddok for his amazing videos, Daldaen & Ele for amazing ClassicQuest research, and Sorn (Tadhg) for tradeskill knowledge and department of fun events (plus useful board posts got true noobs, no salt in posts)

It's great that you offer advice to new players. People just don't care for others that boast about themselves. It's not jealousy, it's basic psychology and social skills which you have proven not to be very good at. On top of the topics you become obsessed about. So not jealousy but narcissism, arrogance, annoyance, and obsession.

I was like level 4 training 2hb with a shovel when I started, Impaction (Asgard at the time) saw me being true noob and gave me a Ruby and some trash Seb staff (19/44 i think, proc that I couldn't use yet... still uber upgrade!). Said the server needed more new people and to keep up the good work.

Dude must have put me on friend list and monitored me, when I hit 30 he tracked me down in Swamp of No Hope and said something like 'Gratz on making 30! I got something for you'. Gives me an Adamantite Club, huge upgrade.

He's in Aftermath now I believe, haven't seen him on in a while (think he plays seasonally). One of the good ones.
