I found some tools and developed a mouse scroll .dll for TAKP. The intent behind this was to release the source so maybe the devs could fix some things alas they immediately thought the worst it seems and banned me.

Some drug addict CSR named speedz called me a "speed freak" or some crap and banned me rather quickly. As for the DDoS nonsense I have no ability to do such a thing so I am not sure where that came from.

This came after this guy, who has about a L50 cleric and monk, somehow managed to chain wipe to spectres in Feerrott just trying to get into Fear. He also died in Fear, in camp, while the entire zone minus CT was dead; no one knows how.

He just does not seem to be very bright.

Surprised he got banned for scripts though. My early bet money was on RMT.

I am capable of recognizing a wrong and finally made that exit thread. Ban was imminent of course I knew going in but I couldn't allow myself to not be punished after the first warning.

As a side note you run a wonderful server and perhaps after a rather long time has passed I would like to be able to enjoy it again.

are multiple zones with Spectres in them. The only ones who see through Invis to Undead are in Ferrott. None of the others do. They are very susceptable to fear spells (I'm level 30 on the char I tried this with, and level does make a difference) They do move slow, but hit very hard. Best bet, group with a necro or SK. Snare/Dooming Darkness, Fear. Hack and slash. Easy Exp. Just don't expect this to work in Feerrott, as they seem to be much tougher (being that close to fear must make them more viscious).

Sep 26 2001 I can confirm that (at least the spectres in OOT) do NOT see through regular invisibility, not sure with Camouflage. And if it worked in OOT it should work in the Catacombs, Feerrott and Oasis as well.

Clearly there were different rules based on what zone they were located in. I found a ShowEQ list that has the differing spectres and their special abilities such as some seeing through hide, IVU and the like. However many did not.

Hardly I gathered hp,stat data, and the like for mobs as the TAKP database is now closed. Hopefully this can be used with a later project I am looking into. Gaining advantage over other players? Absurd. I collected the data I want revealed to the devs what I did and left. How is that gaining advantage over players?

You do have a case to be made for mouse scroll wheel application. However a dev Haynar uses a similar .dll by his own admission. Everyone should have equal access to something like and i find it highly unethical and almost shows a lack of respect for your fellow human that it is used by staff and then others are punished for developing their own so YOU may not have unfair advantage over other. I digress It's your playground but don't expect people to not see the hypocrisy for what it is.

DDoD is a health based database I have been fiddling with. I was hoping to use mob data whereby anyone can search and see specific statistics. Most likely it has a slim chance of success. But I like hobby projects like this.

So continue on with your game programming but know your field. This aint it. The validity of any hacking is pretty much moot when your own devs use similar .dll to simulate mouse scroll. That being said I have removed the more egregious tools like warping and what not from reddit and a few other places.

The mouse scroll I will continue to work on. Until such time as there is a fair playing ground for EVERYONE. To quote a book "All animals are equal but some more equal than others".

Fact of the matter is they really seem to be sociopaths, and if you plucked them out of their p99 world I would put money on the fact you wouldn't be able to trust them IRL either.

They are scumbags in the game, and no different out of the game.
