This specifically applies to the shitters in Hate who sit at spiral (queef and company) while others are camping 2nd floor. The fact you didn't give us more than 90 seconds to Rez you and you petitioned in that time instead of talking it out and wasting a GM's time shows me you're nothing but incredible shitters.

Here's how it went.

Pulled 2nd floor got some first floor aggro so the 1st floor aggro has to run up the spiral. But guess who's camp is at spiral? Awakened. I hope you realize this precedence means I'm gonna sit a raid at 4 way next time you pull something in ToV... You realize how dumb that is:)? Jeez wonder what mob I should do that on.

Sirken shows up , laughs at your crying petition and told us to take care of you since apparently you need some help and you're our responsibility. You should be careful petitioning too much awakened. Learn how to deal w/o a GM there. But you can keep filing useless petitions and see where that takes ya in the long run. Thought you learn by now.

The rule is vague and unfortunately that's very common. Its vague for a reason but I am trying to get with Sirken and the other top guild leaders to try and re hash these rules for some clarity.

As of right now, there is no stipulation to having to re race from the zone in in order to re lock a mob. The only stipulation ever made was a player made agreement that was torched when Awakened got suspended for that Abuse of FTE Vulak. That agreement stated that if Guild A wipes, they must wait for the mob to reset before being able to re lock, any other guild was free to lock it whenever they wanted.

This was to prevent abuse from a guild wiping and the final FTE on them going out and then being able to claim it was a re lock. Unfortunately, as seen here in the rules written in the raid section, the rule is simply this:

Funny you mention this. This was never an agreement. You lied to Sirken about it and got us suspended for it. I have provided logs showing we never agreed to it, but unfortunately as we all know, that doesn't do much around here.

As of right now, there is no stipulation to having to re race from the zone in in order to re lock a mob. The only stipulation ever made was a player made agreement that was torched when Awakened got suspended for that Abuse of FTE Vulak. That agreement stated that if Guild A wipes, they must wait for the mob to reset before being able to re lock, any other guild was free to lock it whenever they wanted.

Reset = seek mode where new target is acquired. You're right.

The problem is with the lock it's exploited and is hardly self policing. Either a wipe ends your shot and only if no one is there to contest you can keep going or have re fte be from people who leave the zone in once wipe occurs. I don't think flopping monks on a wipe then standing should be allowed as a re fte. That's about as shady as it gets.

Been playing on this server since beta pre-launch and for the first couple years it was pretty upsetting that getting dragon kills was damn near impossible unless you were in the top guild, didn't have a job, girlfriend/wife, or any real life responsibilities that normal people have and willing to stay awake and within walking distance of your computer (assuming you even get up from your chair) for 20+ hours out of the day waiting for a batphone alert so god forbid another guild doesn't get that dragon kill.

Now its just comical that almost 8 years later the SAME shit is still going on with even some of the same people. Old world dragons/bosses are STILL permacamped and end game content is still cockblocked just for the sake of doing so. Eventually I figured it out. You see, the people that behave this way do so because they literally could not stand seeing someone else enjoy the same endgame content in this video game they do without having to also sacrifice their IRL too, it would just be too much to bare. What would they have then to hold over the filthy casuals trying to enjoy end game content in this video game? They lose their false sense of pride or whatever you want to call it. You people knew this was a dead end server that was going to end at velious and still you neckbearded it up. So now there is nowhere else to progress ahead to, so all they can do is prevent others from progressing. This is the exact mindset that caused these people to wake The Sleeper. What is most pathetic is they know this and don't care and don't see the problem with it.

Viewing this from the outside this whole time has brought about a whole new understanding of the meaning of the word "pity" for me. I've tried desperately to think of someone I pity more... starving children in Africa, victims of catastrophic disasters, sex trafficking and other horrific crimes... even fucking Shia Lebeouf and his retarded "he will not divide us" campaign. We desperately need some new FTE rules, because both A and A are clearly abusing current rules to lock down targets for consecutive hours without even attempting them. There should be a rule that if don't at least attempt to pull and kill the mob within the first hour of FTE, you don't get a second or third hour, because this is ridicolous. A/A gets enough mobs in a week without having to try and exploit these rules to lock down mobs until they can get people online.

Noone needs pixels that bad - if you can't raid during the night, DON'T - its a dead end server here man, its not going anywhere - slow down the pace, and enjoy a more casual EQ where you don't have to make sure noone else gets pixels just for the sake of it.

Hopefully, Sirken willing, this will be happening soon. He's agreed to sit down and talk about these current rules, just need to actually do it.

We haven't had too much issue with the pharm team in hate. We just usually communicate with them back and forth on intensions and things go ok. We've (venerate) have killed them a couple of times but we offer help and apologies and they're usually pretty easy to coupe with. To go off what you said tho, The times I pooped hate if another guild was there my crew would just note timers and move on/camp out. Just make sure you got someone recording if you port up. Those Russian dash cams come in handy in court.
