It's a good topic. Worst board to post it on. My persona here is basically me. I'm a smartass / troll IRL. I may be guilty of starting shit to get people right on the verge of wanting to kill me simply because the look on their face is funny. I also really like to teach people things. I definitely project myself through my characters on eq1, more so than I do on other games. I think the social dynamics in Everquest tend to hold me fairly close to my actual personality.

That's probably why I also prefer support or healing classes, I like to help people and believe I have a high level of empathy. Druid, cleric, and shaman are my preferred classes and allow me to help others the most.

I seem to recall that precedent was set by the mods, though. At some point there came an edict that content in RnF must relate to EverQuest. The provocateurs still wanted to talk about politics and philosophy and cucking and whatnot and their threads were migrated to OT so they went along as well. Then,as Pokesan has pointed out, all moderation seems to have ceased. Anyone observing this series of events was led to believe OT's purpose was to house all posts unrelated to EQ, no matter their antagonistic tone.
