This game isnt hard !

Growing up i thought EQ was a hard game. Well now that i actually have a chance to play it, i see why. Its not that it has a super hard challenge, but the face that everything is so clunky in the game. Not to mention all the mobs that defy logic. Sitting in a shop,invis and a green con wolf comes through the walls and attacks me while invis. I had to LOL at that. Then i was running from some stuff in High pass. They fell off the cliff and magically appeared right behind me. Sad to say, they did kill me and i lost exp. Not cause i lack skill, but i guess i lack the total knowledge of all the bugs and how the mobs will cheat/exploit to get to you. I still enjoy the game, but it isnt that hard. It just cheats alot lol. I guess 17 years agoi this was the shizznit.

Tbh i hear some of the math in this game is a bit off compared to classic. Something about your AC being different than the true classic servers. I enjoy the game because it gives me a challenge compared to most mmos out there. The clunky graphics are easily fixed with some stuff shared by the community. Honestly, I have mine looking almost exactly like a modern mmo would and the only difference I really see is no map and killing things actually requires skill and teamwork. Oh and the skillgem system, thats not in any other mmo that I've seen. Its kinda like fine tuning your spec.

P99 is a lot easier than classic EQ. For reasons such as the wiki, cable/fiber optic internet, and 60+ FPS.

what got me when i was a newb was the z axis. i swam under water in everfrost peaks and mobs were still hitting me above the ice.
