I have been sort of stressed out trying out characters and I have some okay items swaying my decision but I have a bit of money to also invest in good all rounder gear for the undecided. I am curious what are good items usable by almost all classes that make starting out with as many classes as possible easy?

Banded Armor is something I don't have, though I have bronze, which is unfortunately not as versatile. I have a wraithbone hammer which is amazingly good stats and usable by a lot of classes, but not on casters.

Any examples of stuff like this thats very widely usable on my new characters while I decide and stay stressed? Im looking for some caster ideas too.

+HP/AC rings are fantastic on any low-mid level class and wearable by any race/class combo. Solid investment. Either 65hp/6ac or 5ac/55hp x2 depending on your budget.

Smoldering Brand (http://wiki.project1999.com/Smoldering_Brand) is a decent low-level weapon, procs at level 1. [Edit: Or is it 4? Something like that, anyway.]

Tree Weave (http://wiki.project1999.com/Tree_Weave) for all except int casters.

Black sapphire jewelry is more expensive than the HP/AC rings but another good investment for any caster/hybrid class.

Including the int casters is what makes it tricky. You could look through the equipment list by class (http://wiki.project1999.com/Equipment_By_Class) and see what pops up.

To add to what people have already said:

- Jade Maces for melee (~700pp) - will last you to 50+ easily, also one of the better low-level weapons due to the low delay and relatively high dmg.
- Velium BS necklace (~1.5k) - 65hp/mana in neck slot, hard to beat until 50+

Honestly Velium Fire Opal Rings and a Velium BS necklace with a Smoldering Brand is more than enough for a quick start on basically any class. You don't need to fill all of your slots with primo gear - just get some class-appropriate nonmagic armor.

Can anyone tell me what the AC/HP jewelry is actually called?

There is a pretty good article on this on the wiki:

http://wiki.project1999.com/Ravager's_1k_Twink_Guide

TL;DR Version: Any Class 1k Twink Set:
Platinum Fire Wedding Ring x2 ~500p
Smoldering Brand ~500p

Your budget sounds dreadfully low - pick a character and level up to 25. At 25 you can go to High Hold Keep and hunt in the basement. By the time you are level 32 you will probably have 2-3k saved up from hunting down there. Can also snag Brass Idol from the outside that sells 500pp and is a common drop (Can start camping that at 18 with a group)

Unless that beetle was charmed during the trade, he likely ate it :(

If this is how you want to play, you can do from 17 in Solusek A. Lots of fine steel and high quality ore drop there too.
