Every week I get a kick out of this back and forth guild recruitment thread trolling, as I am sure many others enjoy too. Both of these guilds have so much in common they may as well trim the 70% of each of their guilds that rides their coat tails for pixels and pride and merge to form a super concentrated formulation of lifeless losers on an epic conquest to deny nostalgia to the rest of the server. The casuals from the purge could form their own unorganized zerg fest to compete with "'CSG". <remnants> or <solid waste> could be good guild names for this monstrosity.

My point is only that it is so very comical that you all think you are so different from each other when you are all just crusty trimmings from the same discarded cum rag. Please continue your conquest to prove being the "best" at wasting your lives and having nothing at all tangible to show for it!

Also, if people enjoy playing on the server I don't consider it wasting time. Hobbies are harmless fun as long as they don't wreck your career and social life. I just don't see how anyone can really enjoy staring at the wall for hours and hours waiting for pixel dragons to spawn. It boggles my mind.

Well, the real problem with these idiots is summed up nicely in the "Proposal to bring windows back together" thread in Raid Discussion:
In an effort to bring timers closers together, Aftermath would like to propose a one week, your FTE your mob. Starting Monday at midnight EST till midnight est Saturday, if your guild gets an FTE on a raid mob, you get claim to it. On Saturday all mobs that have been FTE'ed throughout the week will be killed in an effort to bring windows back together to give all guilds a better shot at getting mobs and most of all reduce the burden of tracking 24/7.

It's apparent we won't be getting any hard resets any time soon so taking it upon the community to fix it is the best chance we have. Contrary to popular belief, we here do have lives and do not want to continue tracking 5/7 days a week.
They completely ignore the fact that nobody is forcing them to track 5/7 days a week and they are free to go live their lives any time they please. The stupid footrace rules wouldn't even be a thing if they realized variance was meant to discourage waiting around for mobs to spawn, not be a "contest" of who can spend 5/7 of their days tracking and getting them first.

There was less competition for stuff outside ToV when A/A was holed up in there taking during the week though. First thing I saw when Windows got normalized was 20 aftermath at sebilis zoneline for trak before he spawned.

These guilds will never stop raiding. If something isn't in window, they'll kill less important targets. More resources to spend on tracking fear golems, hate clears, HoT, trak, vs. Targets that were generally not worth the effort when everyone was brain dead from staring at the door.

I once invited a fellow TMO member over to play some boardgames with some friends while trak was in window. During the game he was complaining constantly about how he never missed a Trak and usually wouldn't come out when it was in window. (trak was always in window)

Halfway through the game I excused myself to the bathroom and logged into the TMO batphone and sent just him a batphone saying "TRAK TRAK TRAK" he got the text and almost broke into tears.

I agree entirely, if you enjoy it, please play. It's just sad that a very small minority of people that enjoy butt fucking each other for up to 16 hours to race for the "rights" to a mob can hold the rest of a server of friendly old fucks that just want a place to, in their limited free time, enjoy some content from a game they played back in '99.

This message goes to all that participate in this insanity referred to as a "raid scene". To all those who have the need to dick measure each other over the Internet to feel, for even just the smallest fraction of time, important. To all those that line up at a "starting line" on a "classic" server and think you are your guild's rock stars, when all you are is taken advantage of while your life fades to black from alcoholism and sleep depravation.
