Rust Longswords are too easy to obtain. One can slaughter a lot of innocent rats and bats with a Rust Longsword. If only there was a law against Rusty Longswords.

Rusty long swords in most zones have a 1 to 5 decayed skeleton waiting period, there's working legislation already in place, and it's quite frankly embarrassing to hear anti-RLS groups tout these items as mass killing devices. And I'll tell you, in the neighborhood I grew up in, there was no such as an "innocent bat". Hundreds of lives lost every month to those godless beasts until we started passing out rusty longswords* to every child who could carry one.

Of note - Rusty Longswords have the same real life value as any other pixel - literal nothing (aside from some random RMT of course). Exactly the same as Tunare loot, Vulak loot, etc. Doesn't even take more skill to obtain, just less time commitment.

These FTE footraces for rusty long swords are pretty ridiculous. There should be a rule against engaging with arrows as it puts non-archery classes at a serious disadvantage to the neckbeard rangers. It's gotten to the point that non-archers have to buy their rusty long swords from a ranger when all they want is to play the game the way it was meant to be played.
