The scandals surrounding Moregan and Derubael were so nasty that anything other than their immediate removal would have wrecked havoc on p99. Better to excise the malignancy while the damage is still small in scope than let it grow like the festering cancer it will inevitably be ....

I'll miss the grocer and his antics, but the dude was removed for a reason, and his behavior after the fact only proves the poor sod's insanity.

Derubael I never knew. Apparently he was good for the red server, but he had this nasty habit of stripping banned accounts and RMTing the proceeds. Having a GM like that around (regardless of how popular he was and how much he 'enriched' the red server {lol like the server could be enriched}) is just a recipe for server/project death.

After all the scandals, I'm not surprised there aren't a lot of people promoted to GM status.

I remember Derubael being a giant asshole. If you even remotely disagreed with anything he said, you got some kind of temp ban/account action taken. Good riddance. P99 is better off without his ass.

I wouldn't ever try to apply to be a guide because I'd probably do terrible things to the raiders. Like make raid leaders fight in the Arena for FTE rights and force everyone to clear to every target and disable CotH and tracking and invis in zones with raid targets*.

* Yes staff members, I know guides can't technically do this...but I'd find a way.

Nope. After a few months of neglect i logged him on one day and ended up dying to a bard train(the irony). So once i got him rezzed up i just moved him to my homebase in EC ;)

Ephi gets off easy in the history books for whatever reason, but he was confirmed right there alongside Derubael helping him strip, transfer, and "launder". He didn't directly strip anything (Ephi) but he facilitated large sales and transfers in direct account access cooperation and verbal coordination with Derubael (who ended up being a certain website's largest trade boss).

They were so heinous that I want no less than 3 Uthgards and 2 Amelinda's back, right fucking now.

Ok but I'm serious about Uthgard. Guy brought the fun and GM events.

Also wanted to say big respect to Rogean, Sirken, Braknar and pals for taking care of derupal early. This is one of the most legit emu projects and the admins have done a lot.

Still haven't filled in the blanks on how Ephi inserted himself into Deru's activities or what their relationship was prior to Deru going nuts.

I don't remember them being on staff at the same time. Always struck me as very conspiratorial, and I concluded that it must be the same guys doing this stuff and plotting to corrupt new staff members. Like a circle. For that I'll always view Ephi as a bigger scumbag than Derubael but I could have it twisted.

bad argument. RMT is made easy and convenient on live but punished severely on P99.
