Right in the money. The Warcraft effect has completely changed this server into a bunch of min/max neanderthals.

Last night in Seb I was duoing Chef camp Paladin/Enchanter and another group comes down as we are leaving the camp. We were there for hours sniping nameds without dying or trains. The group that came was monk, warrior, cleric, shaman idk what else but definitely a faceroll group composition.

First of all the Monk dies on a pull before we even get our stuff together to leave. We laugh about it because it was quite literally the dude's first pull. My buddy and I then calm and invis back up to zoneline (without incident) and when we get to the zoneline...the Cleric who was JUST down there is now at zoneline with his gear on (gated) and we definitely know there was no Mage with them hahahaha

The sad thing is...not only are these players blindly min/maxing and playing the game on EZ mode....they can't even hack the content in EZ mode. I see it time and time and time again, for years now. This game is not WoW. The other night in Velks I saw a group......a cleric and 5 MELEES doing the upper dogs camp. Talk about faceroll....and not only that the XP and drops at that camp are complete and absolute shit. Especially in a full group. What has the world come to.

I wonder if that Seb group I ran into last night that wiped within minutes is the same group that burned OP hahaha =)

this is why i never joined groups on blue, only hosted

few months after i quit blue completely, cohesion between players is very low, understandeable since there are soo many guilds and players lfg, but its not fun

Solution? Same as it ever was: keep sending tells to group leader, "still need me? I am on way."

At least then you can only get halfway there before you realize you've been bumped. Never ever travel a long way for a PUG in eq w/o sending tells as you go.

One of our tanks was talking about killing himself if he had to go to jail…like uncomfortable “IM GOING TO PUT A FKING GUN IN MY MOUTH AND BLOW MY HEAD OFF IF I GET SENTENCED JAIL TIME AND I HAVE COURT IN 2 DAYS”. They talk about female gamers like they are actually having real relationships with people based on their gear and that its common practice for nudes to be sent around and marriages destroyed because of it……I just don’t know. Imagine an entire vent of people like Exalt but even less stable and with even more mental problems. It makes me feel better about my life …but it makes me really question how I am spending my free time and if there are not perhaps better uses

I pretty much solod from level 1 -54 as an enchanter. Fastest way to level a chanter IMO.

Everytime I grouped, xp seemed waaaay slower than soloing, and that's not even counting the times people went afk, idiots pulling like crap and wiping the group, finding camps, etc.

Seems to me, the more people in the group, the less xp I earn per kill. Its far easier for me to simply tell people who ask to group to fuck off and solo my way far faster than holding their hands. Chanters are pretty self reliant anyway, I always find it funny when monks get pissed I wont group with them like I need them to xp. Its the other way around pal.

No way i'm ever grouping again, there's no need to when the xp comes in for me far faster solo than with a group.
