So, the rules were told in a meeting between rampage/forsaken+asgard leadership. It will be very interesting to see how pulls will happen now. No more parking at triplets or aary steps for north wing mobs. No more WTOV exit for lendi/telk/goz. No HoT exit for Doze. I have no idea how this will play out.

But in this scenario everyone is running from the zone in. So you are saying you can't kill Telk/Gozz/LTK in West or Doze in East, but you can pull them to the opposite wings?

You can pull it wherever you want as long as you start from the zone in and you don't fuck another raid with the pull, at least that's how I'd assume it will be

Which means guilds now have to clear to the mobs. Or be within 19 seconds of FTE to engage. OR they concede

I don't think it really matters what a guild that will never see another ToV pixel assumes.

Dragons are still being pulled to West exit just like they were prior to the change.

Vyemm was pulled and fought at the zone in entrance earlier this morning, which would be a nice surprise to people going to HoT.

Thats only a rule if you fight the mob on its spawn point. Pulls are legal no matter how long they take as long as the mob is brought to the raid as fast possible.

Yeah basically. There was an inherent risk for foul play with FTE'ers on spawn points so thats gone now.

Now we can train the fucking shit out of each other and anybody else crazy enough to venture past the zone in.

Its way better.

exactly. we arent telling people where or how to kill mobs (aside from the rule posted at http://www.project1999.com/raid.php stating that "To encourage competitive racing, guilds may not camp players out in the vicinity of raid targets.". all we're saying is that players are responsible for, and need to be held accountable for the mobs that they pull.

So by this definition. In the example of two raid forces massing at zone in. It's best if one guild starts clearing in the path the raid mob will take to get to zone in. Which means in order for the other guild to pull past the clearing guild they will have to train said target on to that clearing guild. Thus forcing the pulling guild to concede the mob.
