I'm having 3 thanksgivings...
First.. Mom's oven cooked turkey, mashed taters (with a yam), gravy, green beans, stuffing, pumpkin cheesecake.
Second.. Don't know, includes turkey.
Third.. Mine with friends - Smoked turkey, mashed taters (with yam) & giblet/drippings gravy, stuffing, possibly green beans, & home made pumpkin pie from fresh pumpkins with a graham cracker crust.
I'm actually kind of concerned this year. Due to my aunt and uncles untimely divorce, I'm unsure if my Uncle's traditional yam-o-rama will be making an appearance. Thanksgiving without yams just isn't right.

Eating my girlfriend's family's turkey, which was aptly named "Thanksgiving". Apparently he weighed in at 33pounds, dressed. Stupid but funny bastard while he was alive.

I made dinner this year. On Wednesday, I made pumpkin and pecan pies and cranberry sauce. Thursday morning I made spinach and mushroom stuffing, stuffed the bird and started the long roast. Finished it off with mashed yukon gold potatoes, gravy (no giblets, thanks), candied yam (yams, not sweet potatoes) and the ubiquitous green bean casserole.
Just ate the same meal for the third time tonight. I think I'm ready for something else tomorrow.
