View Full Version : People who are too lazy to return a shopping cart...

Die.

After driving a piece of shit car for 7 years I finally am financially stable enough to have saved half this year and put a fat down payment on a brand new car 3 weeks ago...yay!

Nay...some lazy fuck couldn't walk his fat ass 5 feet and put his shopping cart in a corral and heavy winds sent it into my fender, denting, scratching, and preventing my passenger side door from opening.

Yes, this is someones job nowadays to wrangle carts but there didn't used to be. Necessity has demanded it be so because America is full of fat fucks who are too lazy to put something where it belongs.

Grr...

I bet you were one of the people that parks their car in the bumfuck-egypt part of the parking lot to avoid other cars hitting you, in which case it leaves it wide open for shopping-cart-rape.

Hell no, when I see 20 carts huddling together at the bottom of a sloped parking lot that just smells of trouble.

I would worry more if they were at the top of the parking lot

I grab a cart from lot on the way in to the store and then corral my cart on the way back out. you gotta make sure those fuckers are contained or they'll run all over hell and back.

I got smacked within 1 month of my new purchase as well. Not sure if it was a cart, car, or just come dickhead upset that my car was new.

What they really need is like one guy up on a platform in each parking lot who just paintballs your car as you drive away if you don't place your shopping cart in the corral.

I'd apply for that job RIGHT NOW if it truly existed, and I've been a software developer for 7 years...

You can always ask the store for security tapes, see if you can track his/her license, and go to small claims.

Or just pay a deductable and get it fixed.

Or, even better yet, not worry about the appearance of your car so much.

My buddy traded in his truck for a nice brand new one, and now wont use it for anything but going to work because he doesn't want to scratch it. WTF is the point in a truck if you aren't going to offroad, camp, etc.?

I always park my car next to the nicest cars I can find in the lot. That way, I know the fuckers won't put dents in my vehicle. And, the people who like to key others cars will go for those instead of mine!

How can a shopping cart hit the fender and disable the door?

ShivanAngel
11-24-2010, 01:31 PM
Pretty sure that wasnt a shopping cart that hit your car if it did that much damage...

Some fuckhead hit your car and drove away....

Course its also fun when you find a note on your car that says

"Im just writing this so the people that saw me hit you think im leaving my insurance info. Sorry."

Some nice fellow left me a note saying that exact same thing as his POS 83' Bonneville bumber smashed into my brand new Volvo. Jerkoff... Camera's got him though.

I'm trying to imagine the type of car that would be so badly damaged from a single shopping cart... It hit your fender and your door? So hard it can't be opened?

I'm not doubting you but I have to know the manufacturer so I can avoid it like the plague in the future.

Good idea, that way you can make real money as a math teacher once ObamaCare starts regulating prices.

You don't lose money by trolling, you do lose money by buying a new car. So your comparison is inaccurate.

Khaz, why do you have to hate on fat people? Is it because fat people are one of the few groups that are acceptable to hate on nowadays? Coward. Get a pair and accuse these shopping cart marauders of being ******s that are too lazy to steal the whole car.

What kind of tinfoil POS are you driving that a 5lb shopping cart can push the fender in so far that it obstructs the passenger door?

In highschool I worked at a grocery store bagging. Part of our job was to gather carts in the parking lot. I shit you not, but I saw on more than one occasion, someone who walked 8 spaces away from their car to place their carts wheels on a cement barrier when the cart corral was 2 spaces away. And yes, I called those retards out it.

Seriously, my Honda was T-boned by a box truck that ran a light and the door still worked.

Never buy anything you can't afford to lose or repair

And if a shopping cart disabled your door you need to stop buying cars made of recycled paper or something =P

It's a Chevy Aveo. It does seem like it's made of plastic but whatever the case it's still fucked.

It was a shopping cart, we got some pretty crazy wind in the midwest sometimes...I saw it unfold on the security tapes at the store, we even saw the lazy motherfucker who left his cart next to his car, between ours. They aren't willing to reimburse for the cost of repairs though.

Either this is his car:

Or this was the shopping cart:

story seems fishy. If he said a shopping cart did that to his prius, it would be believable, or that a stray cart totaled his smart car.
