If you watch starting at 19:00 you can see me trade Hathaway a bag of black pantherskin gear as well as GEB's and a peacebringer. I petitioned in-game but was told I cannot get them back.... Why not?? It took a long time to get enough money to buy those and I wasn't apart of whatever the reason is that he got banned.... Why do I have to suffer too? All I am asking is for you guys to maybe have a vote to return my hardly earned gear...
Thanks

If you hardly earned it, then there should be no problem.

Slippery slope. They'd have to do it for 1000 others as this would set a precedent.

gotta be in BDA to get items returned

Well in my opinion they should do it for all 1000 people... As long as they weren't apart of the reason they got banned.... Why not? It isn't fair to me at all..

Plus my interaction is on video... You can see his group chat in game as I asked him to hold those because I was soft and taking a lot of damage...

Pro tip: If you don't like a CSR answer, the ABSOLUTE WORSE thing you can do it post it in RnF. Seriously.

He's right, any chance you had of getting your shit back went bye bye when you started this thread.
Sorry it happened...some lessons are learned harder than others.

In the other thread you said you made the trade because you were too overweight to tank......none of those things are heavy at all aside from the peacebringer...you got full black pantherskin but not a single WR bag to stick anything in?
Calling all young detectives!

You are silly. I weighed 33 stone. I was tanking in velk at level 51 as a MONK. I wanted to be as light as possible. the PB is 10.0 and GEB are a 2.5... thats 12.5 alone...

So I feel I should add in here, what SHOULD you do if you have a CSR answer you do not like.
I would say the best thing is first and foremost, remember we are volunteers, you don't pay a sub, please don't act like you do.
What that means is be patient, be respectful, don't treat staff badly. Next, you should remember the previous sentence, and make a petition post in our petitions forum detailing your situation. Our petitions forum is visible to all staff and is the BEST way to get an escalation to myself or to Sirken if needed.

As you can see next to my name I am new to the forums.... I am sorry I didn't use the proper channels.. I would like to add that I don't think I have treated any staff badly, I was just trying to get my gear back..

But the answer wasn't the one he wanted and was final. There was no hope to get it changed otherwise lol

Are you saying we shouldn't trust 'resolved' petitions and we should rephrase closed petitions because decisions can be flip flopped?
If I had a petition and it was resolved I would assume the matter was final and I wouldn't see the reason in pursuing it further. At most I would make a light hearted RNF on the matter, I certainly wouldn't entertain making the same petition again in the hope of having another revoked.
Is there flipflop for flimflammed jimjams?

It's honestly worse to petition a second time when you don't like your first answer. That's a good way to get on Rogean's bad side.

Hah no, what I'm saying is you certainly can appeal a staff call.
The only time this is not the case is in the event of a camp dispute as that is a call made a tthe time, in game, and is not debatable.
You always have the option of escalation.
Autotune

Making an RNF about it just makes the person who originally gave you an answer mad because now his decision and reasoning is made public, which leads to his power being judged publicly. Then usually the rest of the staff will learn about it and rub their sacks on you, but overall the answer they originally gave you won't change either way, but at least this way you won't invoke the wrath of lord Rogean

So how would I know if my "appeal" is even being considered at this point? Or is it safe to assume the answer I got was unjust yet final?

He will probably rub his sack on you too though for making an RNF post and crying about pixels, but that's to be expected.

Ah! 'Appeal a staff call', that is a better way to put it!
So how do we appeal a staff call? It seems you've ruled out using the petition forum to do so. Thanks for the speedy reply by the way!

ah I see, you weren't saying no to using the petition forum to appeal, you were saying yes?

Yeah, you petition on the forums for an appeal on the call you were given and you give all the relevant facts you think are worthy of submitting.
Then you wait.

I never suggested RMF was. I merely asked if we could petition after a petition was already resolved and got confused because your reply started with "Hah, no" and halflings don't have such good racial intelligence to understand the context of that no ;).
