I honestly don't know how it became acceptable to train trash around the zone while you kill a raid mob in places like VP or ToV. I know on Erollisi Marr, our guilds raced to NToV, and whichever guild engaged Aaryonar, then downed him, had the rights to the wing past Aary until Aary repopped. I always thought that was fair. We also fought Aary near his spawn point. We pulled him to the ramp right before his spawn and killed him there iirc.

So I don't get how creating a total shitshow by training a huge PITA dragon around to a completely different wing is, or ever was, the thing to do.

Want an idea for how to handle NToV? Screw a rotation... race to Aary, get him down, #profit.

Guilds have done this for years. Like camping in Call of Duty, it might be frowned on but there's no rule breaking going on.....well, unless you're wiping an opposing raid force with it.

Because GMs made it so FTE is all that matters on this server. Tactical trains are the best way to not get leapfrogged.

Raided weekly on blue thanks, and didn't shackle myself to a zerg guild like BDA to get targets down...some of the guild chat in your screenshots is really embarrassing btw.

This is the best time I've ever seen on p99 for people to get into the raid scene in whatever guild because so many bottlenecks have been removed.

I don't know exactly why I'm responding to you as if you're a real person with real logic and a real ability to think. BDA is a great guild and is a home to many players who like to experience the raid scene when they can. Many of us only play a couple of times a month, myself included. Our leaders have flaws and they are easy targets. But there really isn't the sort of bad blood you constantly seek to engender.

Kill Aary, get NToV...when exactly? They're varianced far enough now that it's pretty much over the week. Furthermore, killing aary has very little to do with a guild's ability to kill vyemm (or new vulak)

Getting Aary down gets you the rights to NToV until his respawn. Ability to down Vulak or Vyemm matters not, as this will allow newer guilds to learn. If you want NToV, race to Aary, down it, profit. Jesus, how did my thread get moved to rnf. This started as a discussion to take things away from #trainfest2015 and move back to strategic, organized kills.
