To be clear, my intention wasn't to be rude, just to the point. I understand if someone posts in an area they shouldn't have and then recognize their error. :)

As for your report, let me type that up for you:

Rogean,

A doucher exploited the game purposefully. He/she/it broke rules that are not only written on the forums/main webpage but also posted when executing the game before logging in.

This doucher is very very cfeyr ferry serry and very sorry for their actions. They are so sorry, that they went out of their way to create a forum account and posted, originally in the wrong section, an apologetic response. Some view this as a not so serious apology, but I see it as a feeble attempt of seeking absolution.

Please understand, you are the way, the truth and the light of P99 and only through you may douchers be forgiven.

I don't know if there is a time requirement. My RL is busy however I believe I could log in and help clear out the queue if I can do it on my time, when I am not busy with RL that is.

This is my concern. I'd love to help, but I'm not sure what kind of help they need or what kind of time they want.

Perhaps if they posted a "wanted, someone to XYZ, must be able to ABC" it would help people decide if they could be useful.

Has a bunch of questions you can view. I don't see anything that has time requirements, but last time I was going to sign up for being a volunteer guide, they told me during the interview that they needed me on from X to X time.

I am guessing P99 has very relaxed rules. You can always sign up and see if you are chosen for an interview and find out that way.

More than anything I am just passing time at work on these forums, so asking publicly is the route I took. :)

Afraid that is not possible. WoW and P99 use the same anti-cheat protocol, albeit Blizzard's version doesn't detect as a trojan and is much more advanced.

The people that decide to ignore the fact P99 has very robust anti-cheat protocols in place aren't the brightest bulbs. I'd give this guy a single second chance just out of pity for how misinformed he was. I'm supposed to be a conservative and find myself more liberal every day, shucks.

When WoTLK was released I created a DK. While leveling in the initial zone, a normal human char was chopping/flying around inside the DK main quest area. I logged out, logged in to my other alliance character and talked to him.

Dude said he was on a trial account with a laptop running some 'programs' in the background that let him manipulate the environment in game like he was. On my screen he seemed to be moving at +400% speed and skipping around in the air. Sometimes he would stop moving around, land and the guards would run in to attack him but he would just fly back up in the air and the NPCs would reset.

It was interesting.

lol didnt mean to start a flame war.... to be clear I have been banned for 2.5 years now and I have a 59 monk named canabizzy.... and honestly I only ever changed the runspeed offset to cross zones quicker and safer and got away with it for nearly 3 years. It was not worth it when I got caught, as I lost 3 years worth of work and about 300k PP. I am sorry for any damage I caused to the community and am not expecting any kind of real result here. Just whining because velious is my favorite expansion and to start over now I wouldnt even be raid ready this year, and just wish I could witness the waking of the sleeper for once. Anyways. Thank you for the great times on this server, great job by the staff allowing me to relive some of the best times of my life.
Cudos, and once again, to the staff and the community I apologize and I am actually very glad that the action was taken against my account, protecting the integrity of your server is important. Something SOE could not claim as an accomplishment or priority. Once again thank you all
