Looks like they are backtracking on paid user created mods. I think they realized that there was no way to secure content, ensure quality, prevent massive pirating, or stop others from rebranding someone else's creation. It was a legal disaster waiting to happen.

To celebrate I am sharing an old mod I created for fallout:nv.
What is included:

- New home/bunker
- New android companion voiced by me
- Small quest and backstory
- live practice range with a variety of NPCs
- Quake 2&3 weapons I modeled and skinned
- Portable turrets
- New armor/outfits
- New radio station (only on radios at bunker)
- Many, many misc. treats

I was a scrub and only played Fallout: New Vegas on my PS3.. but awesome to see some user created mods being distributed - looks fun.

How many hours have you spent on it? They seem time intensive, the closest I ever got was map making on Heroes of Might and Magic 3 :p

I easily spent a few hundred hours creating it. All the weapons are modeled and skinned by me. The android was a custom model and skin too. Not to mention custom sound effects, voices, and scripting took many hours. I never got to fully finish it since I was running out of memory addresses for custom content. Been working on a similar mod for skyrim but haven't released it to the public yet.
