We plan on raiding and contending. We have open recruitment but its not just spamming random invites. You have to group with the guild and get to know them before we let you into the guild. We will post the application's on our forums and the members will vote on you. We dont plan on doing zergs but we do want good players. If you are interested in the application process, just message Elemtal in game. We will get you in a guild group asap and feel you out. PVP is a must.

One great thing so far about "The Curse" is helping people get out of their 'blue' shell. A few of our members hadn't really been involved in PvP before, and just hanging out with Element, Strut, etc. has helped them get into it. Or at least that is how it seems to me. And once you get 4-5 kills under your belt you never go back. It's nice to see.

So if you're new to red and want to get into PvP more send someone a tell. Being around PvP can help you get past treating this server as "blue with griefers" into seeing it for how awesome it really is. Last might I saw two people get their first kills, and a few others begin to make real progress on getting more kills.

This might be with other guilds too, I don't know if many guilds have this PvP focus for low level new to server people.

These guys are great for the server. Even if you don't like their philosophy don't you think that a Pvp server needs what you might call the bad guys to keep things exciting? Some would rage against players attacking folks as they port in. Some would be more calm but have disdain. I am sure just don't care. But for folks like me we think it's an awesome way to say welcome to west commons we hope you enjoy your stay!

Bump for a good guild that actually uses PvP as a recruitment tool. Most of us are now high 40s-50s making big moves, exp zones like CoM constantly locked down by The Curse

Never observed any of that with members of The Curse. Only experiences I've had have included entire zones locked down for groups to enjoy exp grinds, killing off griefing PKers where necessary, and gifted loot where needed. Think quite a few of your views are distorted, that or you have a very high sense of entitlement for a pvp server. <3 <3 <3

It was raining pixels this weekend. Good fun, sad I missed Naggy but had fun at Vox. Never got to raid on live so it was new to me, learned a bit more about the game. And I think the Naggy raid started with pvp against Fresh for the zone? Always fun to see.

Appreciate the bump Sirken and keeping an eye on our guild thread. The Curse is doing big things, had our first planar raid tonight. Got a couple pieces of planar loot for our members. Even got to PvP a group of lvl 60 vp geared holocaust, ran them out of the zone until they brought in 12 of them vs our 16. Was fun getting to show some of our new members how to run a assist train. Currently recruiting players, looking especially for wizards, rogues, and monks!
