On this server, nothing I have ran into.
But, On SoD. One of the gms kept spawning mobs for members of his guild.
( another GM leaked the logs)
our guild on SoD seemed to be haunted/stalked and fucked with by a GM warping our warr out of the zone mid engage on a mob, causes a mob to go invulnerable, many other things.

Amelinda being paid $50 a week to not ban IB as they RMTd off the server in the hope they would buy her a Laptop.
Hobby soulfiring IB in plane of sky so they could kill mobs.
Xyzerion putting tentacle terrors in IBs competitions pull spot on the Dev server then patching it.
That euro guide that would ban people who fucked with his play character. Was in Darkwind eventually IB.
Derubael doing what he did with a certain guild that recently reformed...can't talk about that one yet.
Other than that I can't think of any other GM corruption on this server

My roommate when EQ went live called a friend of his form high school and told him about the game. That friend later applied to be a GM. we were on Rallos zek, and his friend was on some blue server.. they never let you GM on your own server, but they randomly placed him on Rallos zek.
he was a slacker and addicted to EQ so he never really took too much advantage of the system, but one time he did help us find a guy who we relentlessly PK'd until he logged off.
But that guy was a douchebag.

Oh fuck yeah. I especially loved the luclin-pop quest that was never in. Plus editing and spawning shit by gm that "quit". Shady but it barely mattered since the pop wasnt super huge.

when I was a guide on VZ during Velious, I passed info about Defiant & friends to Prophets/Vexare leadership and played some of their chars on raids. never got caught. I eventually requested a transfer to another server and started playing on VZ for a bit.

Not really, there was actually a problem with guilds not progressing through Luclin raid content when the expansion was released, because the content was much more difficult and the loot was worse than NToV.
AAs made it a lot easier though, so then you had several guilds all competing for Vulak on each server, which is why they added the ring event. It limited how many guilds could kill Vulak, as well as push people into Luclin content.
Velious gear was just too good.

Like, even the end zone Vex Thal had a lot of gear that couldn't compare to NToV loot. Even after they went through and upgraded most of the stuff from that zone a good amount of it is just a slight upgrade over what you could get in Velious.
Gear didn't seriously improve past Velious stuff until PoP.

Eh, what? All that FT and +atk was a huge upgrade over Velious loot. Another 300-500 hp/mana on a set of gear wasn't too shabby either.

Khati was broke as shit. Ssra had weapons but AC was awful on gear unless you got cursed/ seru stuff. And those were fucking hard. XTC/ HP had ok stuff. Akheva was a shit zone. Emp...fuck emp. And PoP was shit until you get passed Betroxx
