Please learn how your body absorbs amino acids. You should be doing smaller and more frequent doses of protein throughout the course of the entire day, not dropping 100g on breakfast.

I'm guessing you are new to bodybuilding and likely overweight, but you're doing it wrong.

Yeah 100g of protein in one meal is a lot of overkill. I know you want to bulk up, but that's just going to end up being a lot of poop. Try spacing it out over like 6 meals per day.

Once you're in the game, it's very easy to tell what's possible naturally. And no, you can't gain 30 lbs in pure muscle in 60 days without using gear. That's 0.50 lbs of muscle per day.

Fact that you don't even know how amino acids work tells me you're a beginner running his mouth about things you don't know about, and probably fat as hell.

Impressive if you got 26 pounds in 2 months. Ive been going for about a year now, everyday. put on about 12 pounds of pure muscle. I dont spend more then about an hour and 15 minutes at the gym. I do manual construction so me being able to flat out max lift everyday isnt going to work, if i cant lift the next day at work im useless. Slow and steady not here to be superman, here to make my job easier.

Today will be chest triceps and traps though. #gains homie.

What's humorous is the chance that OP is not trolling and actually did put on 26 lbs in two months and truly thinks it is muscle, when in reality it is mostly fat and he's probably looking pretty hammy right about now, hammier than usual.

After the first 3 months i hardly felt anything the nwxt day after i started getting a more proper diet. The only day i really feel it is my leg day. I max out everyday with that. The past 3 months ive been bulking, where previously i was just strengthening. I will bulk for another few then strenghten again. But legs will always be something i max out on. Just getting a few more pounds in.

I was so full of energy when i was laboring. I dont think i was fully awake or not in pain for about a month, but once i got into the swing of it i was only sleeping about 4 hours a night, working 50ish hours a week, and lifting. The only downside was how hot and humid it got in the summer. Id much rather work in the cold.

You don't lift.

Also, this wouldn't add up to 100g of quality protein.

The highest quality protein mixes are like 22g per scoop (44g). Hopefully, you're not Drinking that Ctyotech Musclemilk shit which is pretty much to protein what fruity drinks are to sorority girls.

Eggs have about 6grams each - there is another 24. The peanut butter probably has like 2g, but is mostly sourced as a fat. and I'll give you about 8g of protein for the milk.

You're sitting around 80g at best, which is about 20g more than the body can process in a single sitting, so you're just going shit the rest out in a single massive log until you're snorting some kind of fiber supplement or eating your weight in broccoli along with it.

2 scoops is 60g, the milk is 8g, peanut butter (2ish tbsp) is about 14g, 4 eggs is 24g plus IGF-1, the bread i eat is fucking LOADED with fiber, and the post workout meal has tons of fiber, too.

What protein mix are you using? One of the best I found for bulk was this,
http://www.amazon.com/Optimum-Nutrition-Performance-Supplements-Chocolate/dp/B006MKAQPQ

It tastes great to the point where you'll actually look forward to your shakes, especially if you're making them with milk. I've cut my fat intake quite a bit, so I'm mixing with water and it still far surpasses a lot of the other products i've tried in taste and overall performance for what I can tell.

I hope you're eating an omega balanced peanut butter or supplementing in the right ratios - I used to think all that was bullshit, but it's actually noticeable when your 3:6 balance is off. Also, that's a fuck load of peanut butter.

Out of curiosity, most whole grain breads (which I'm assuming is what you're eating) is around 20-24g carb per slice. How many carbs are are you eating at wakeup/post workout?

Oh ok, so its about 50g from the powder for 2 scoops of gold standard natural.

Not even sure about the bread, because i make it from scratch. its quinoa and flax, because celiac disease. any carbs i eat after that are usually from brown rice, though carbs arent a huge deal at the moment since im not cutting. 2 tbsp of natural peanutbutter (not the sugary salty jif bullshit) isnt that much at all.

Its still cheaper than the equivalent protein of say chicken breast, with much less cholesterol depending on the brand. Just look around for one that has what you want in it. If youre trying to maintain get something with as little carbs, fat, cholesterol, and sugars as you can find.

I don't know a whole lot about the powder tbh. Here is what I do know.. you want a high quality powder if you want to build lean muscle. If you do want to use it, you need quality protein from a well-known brand. (i.e. my link has 1g of sugar, and 1g of fat, for 24g protein.)

The reason it is expensive is because milk is expensive. In the past, most quality milk has come from the US. I read something recently about China not importing as much milk, and instead making their own. With less exports, I would imagine milk prices would decrease within the US, but who knows.

I bet someone on the forums has way more knowledge on this, and a good answer.

What Nilbog linked is definitely one of the best products on the market. It's predigest Whey protein so it breaks down rather quickly. If you're active, or plan to be active it's going to be your best bet in my opinion. The performance line that I linked previously has the benefit (or detriment depending on your goals) of higher carbs/calories. I like the extra carbs in the morning in my shake since I cut out milk from my diet so that product works well for me.

In regards to your concern about price, really none of them are 'cheap', at least not ones that you'd want to buy. There's a lot of science that goes behind the powders and quite a bit of manufacturing and processing expense that drives up the cost as well. I would say I probably blow ~$100/mo on the shit.

With that said, I also run up a grocery bill of about $170/week, which leaves me with 4 meals a day and 2 shakes.

http://i.imgur.com/Q8fxJQ5l.jpg

Pictured doesn't include my dinners which is the 3 lbs of veal wrapped up in the bag in the back. There's also salmon in the fridge. This is really just what I take to work. The overall diet gets boring, so I change it up slightly week to week, but nothing that exciting.

Nah dawg "lifting" is for fucking fire giants. I exercise bro.

Like I mentioned though, I don't do it to be superman. But I do put a lot of yoked fire giants to shame at the gym, from not only the type of workout routine I do, but also cause I work my ass off all day by actually using the muscles, not just washing clothes on my abs. I do it for a few reason.

1. 23 different personalities at work, just in my department, in the construction field, you are talking a lot of ego's and a lot of clashing. Just a time to leave my phone in my locker, do my thing, and chill out before I have to go to class.

2. Keeps me out of trouble and drinking as much.

3. Although I love getting a little swoll its more or less to just be in better shape, been at my job for 8 years, and it still kicks my ass some days. Can't get past that. I just trying to stay in shape to keep up with it all. Eating healthier too

I do have to admit, your prepping is clean. I've been turned on to it for a while, might have to swap some recipes like some old bitches. I started doing it strictly because I was tired of having to eat at the job site everyday, being forced to eat fast food day in and day out because of our shitty lunch breaks. Or even when we can;t even break for lunch because of water mains breaks etc, I can run to my truck warm some shit up and eat real quick.

I never eat breakfast - I like to sleep in until I have just enough time to shower/shave and get to work.

This is basically my routine except I might pick up a turkey breakfast sandwich on the way to work and I heel my loafs down the drain in an effort to save time.

Dat hobbit life.

Wow! The only thing that isn't going to give you cancer and kill you is the coffee. Good job!
