So if you pour yourself a beer and it's not cold enough (i know, i know...), one way to fail at making it an enjoyable chilly beverage is to put your pint glass in a big ale mug filled with ice water, let it sit for a moment, and then try to drink it like a regular beer.

This is, however, a good method for spilling ice water all over your table, your couch, and yourself.

Note to future self: pick up some straws at the store. Ya dingus

Always keep a few pint glasses in the freezer to make sure beer stays ice cold

One of the few benefits of living in a shitty climate:

Stick it outside and watch it cool down in ~5 minutes.

Take some paper towel, wet it with cold water so that it's damp but not dripping. Wrap it around the bottle or can of beer. Stick it in the freezer for 10 minutes.

Vioala, cold brew.

Drink it warm. Beer has more taste to it then.
