View Full Version : Cheap enchanter GCD reset clicks? And a few new Chanter questions.

Can anyone tell me of a cheap clicky to use for resetting GCD? Also can you tell me exactly how you use a clicky item to do this? Is there a macro or anything?

Also, any useful enchanter macros would be greatly appreciated. I'm only level 10 but I will refer back to this post as i level, so any level useful macros will be great. :)

Any tips on low level gear would be great too. I got a Crude Stein and Gypsy Medallion, but that's it so far. Sold a lot of bone chips and CB belts to get those. So I'm looking for cheap charisma gear basically, ideas appreciated. I plan to Charm a ton while leveling.

Thanks everyone for your help. :)

I'm a high Elf, name is Aidun. Say hello if ha see me!

I used the Rod of Insidious Glamour clickie all the way til 60 until I got epic.

Basically cast spell - hit hotkey for instaclick (I have mine on 6), then cast next spell, instaclick, etc etc

Gimp is correct. Rod is the best thing til you get your epic. Then Shrunken Goblin Skull Earring is good when you have your epic. J-Boots are alright but are limited to outdoor zones.

Here are some links that may help you out.

This will let you search Enchanter items by slot. You can then click on the list headers to sort by Intelligence or Charisma for example. Then you can use the auction links and wiki to see what they sell for.

http://wiki.project1999.com/Category:Enchanter_Equipment

This is a new auction tracker that you can filter by class, slot and by stat (so if you wanted an enchanter usable hat with charisma). You can then see people who have auctioned to sell one recently, people who auctioned to buy and also all the items in the wiki that match those filters. Note that that part currently has some items that aren't in this version like Velious items and a few later expansions.

http://ecmarket.webewizard.com

This auction site shows live auction updates from EC tunnel (when people have it turned on).

I set my Rod of Insidious Glamor to a hotkey and bind it to a thumb button, being able to clear GCD quickly can save a life.

I don't think you'll be able to find a insta-click for less than 800pp (rod), but while you're leveling you might get incredibly lucky in the Lake of Ill Omen and score one of these:

http://wiki.project1999.com/Goblin_Gazughi_Ring

Find yourself a Druid or Necro to duo in LOIO and you can hang out there from ~20-28 too. Wont take long.

Glamour Rod is definitely the cheapest. I recommend leveling late teens in Upper Guk....there are at least three drops there for Sol Ro gear that you want to get, and high levels wander through often...I picked them all up for free.

Also you don't want to use the Gobbie Ring for GCD normally, it'll break your charm or kill your animation.

Rod won't work before level 30 though

Not sure what Goblin Skull Earrings cost on Blue, but on Red they're 3k.

Edit: NM just get a Gazughi ring and spam it on your target.

This is not correct.

You need to have a target for the Goblin Gazughi Ring (http://wiki.project1999.com/Goblin_Gazughi_Ring). It's not self-only, unlike the Circlet of Shadow (http://wiki.project1999.com/Circlet_of_Shadow)

I get your point, one can very easily break charm unintentionally, but it's not a guaranteed charm break/animation kill.

I got lucky on the spawns in Uguk in that I was able to do it at 29. There can potentially be a L33 spawn which will fuck u up.

Edit: NM just get a Gazughi ring and spam it on your target.Target has to be self or a group member, else the ring won't activate and the GCD will be unaffected.

^^^ Fair enough, point if Gobbie Ring is totally awesome, but not dependable for GCD.

Saw someone mention elsewhere that spyglass is indoor/outdoor and works for GCD. That'd be the cheapest, though I've never tested it. It may be sufficiently annoying to click off effect that you are better waiting to get glamour rod, not sure.

This guy is clearly looking for a pre-level 30 pre-Rod GCD reset.

The Rod isn't cheap for a new character, it's 900p.

The Rod doesn't work before level 30 as a GCD reset.

So basically this thread has answered nothing.

Telling him to get the Goblin Ring is hilarious. It's 5k, even more expensive than the Rod, and doesn't even work to reset GCD on a regular basis.

So the question still stands... are there any cheap GCD reset clickies that can be used for soloing enchanters before level 30 (i.e. NOT ROD) and cost less than, say, 500pp?

Telescope if you can find one.

Also if you're price shopping at 30, consider camping it yourself. It costs nothing that way.

Forensic continues to troll. Excellent. Thanks for chiming in again.

This dude is asking about GCD. That's not a first-toon type question in most cases, and telling him what to look for as he advances is exactly the advice people should be giving him.

Also, read above. The only answer might be Spyglass. I saw someone selling today for 75pp. You could have to click off the annoying effect however, so it makes it rather moot as a timesaver. Which is why, to return to the conclusion: The BEST thing is to level in UGuk, and try to pick up the pieces for a Glamour Rod if he doesn't have the 3k to spend on a Goblin Earring.

So the answer is that there really is no answer.

As far as trolling... this is the most overused word on the internet. You don't like me, you want me to shut up, oh well, too bad. I'm not a troll just because I bother you.

Spyglass (insta-clicky effect: telescope) is 100pp, I use it on my Shaman for GCD on Canni

Boom. Completely forgot about spyglasses. I'm sure the price tag will make up for the annoyance of the effect.

Goblin Gazughi Ring can easily be used to reset GCD, you just need to target your pet (or yourself if no pet). My suggestion of Gobo Ring and Bracer of the Hidden was to level in Loio on the off chance of looting them.

Using a gazughi ring as a charming class for Gcd elimination is like juggling AIDS-chainsaws.

What's the worst that'll happen to him at 10?

People keep harping on the Gazughi Ring... it's one of the few insta-click items out there that is "acquirable" at a low level; you can set up camp at the Gobo ruins at 20 with a small group, and its clickable at level 5. Nobody's saying its the best, only that its an option.

All of that is technical correct, which is the best kind of correct.

I would just never use it for Gcd elimination - too many good alternatives out there.

Gonna go snag this on my cleric and my enchanter today to free up my earring slot during non-dispelling fights. Thanks!

I've been playing P99 for a while and just today figured out insta clickies reset GCD lol. This feels kinda like cheating lol. This is definitely allowed by P99 staff?
