I've considered being a drifter. Live in the woods and roam around the country on foot.
Never cut my nails, take a bath once a month in a dirty river and wear and old ragged brown coat all year long. Duct tape my shoes together.

Your dog will never scream that he hates you, borrow money, wreck your car or lie to you. Your kid will tell you that you ruined her life because you won't let her hang out with a 23 year old stoner with 2 kids, sue for emancipation and then support as well as therapy for ruining said life. You can cut your dog's balls off and 2 days later he'll be so glad to see you that he'll wet himself.

So yeah, he put the dogs before the kids.
