A little culture for you this Monday morning - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MUp0UsLtdRQ - this is what Hannibal Lecter listens to when he plays red.
I thought I'd recommend something a little different since most of what I'm crazy about is from a later time.

Most people don't know where to start with Bach - a lot of listeners jump into stuff that is a little much for them. Listening to and appreciating Bach honestly takes practice; it's like reading Shakespeare - you gotta get a feel. Starting with Bach's 4-voice works is a bit much in my opinion.
I will avoid engaging the morans for the time being!

Hahaha. Someone post that pic of Jeremy. It's exactly what I envisioned when I saw this thread.
Amidst listening to classical piano on YouTube whilst inhaling Cheetos and Code Red Mountain Dew, Jeremy's hands shook with anticipation as his mouse cursor hovered over the post button.

Holst is like gateway classical music for junior high students! Good stuff, no doubt, but I wouldn't call it more epic than Bach! Bach was out of this world for the time - keep in mind he died in 1750!
