Apparently they're going to have to start doing psych evals for Comcast employees.

I'm pretty sure that Comcast employee would pass their psych evals. He's probably following their rule book.

the customer calling to cancel is a saint, after about 30 seconds I would have been frothing screaming nonsense at that guy

I don't envy that guy's job one bit, and yeah that guy's a saint. I would have flipped out after a while. I'm a patient guy and I understand the rep on the phone has a job to do I'd flip out.

Sad thing is that it's good business practice, if you hang up frustrated, that's another month they can bill you for. :(

we still get a bill from dish once per month for our last months service.
they don't dare call anymore and ill gladly throw that letter right in the trash eventually they will lose more money on paper/ink/stamps than the $23 I owe them
fuck off dish!

until then send it to your credit score and you can't buy a new house because of $23

Are there any business's or start ups that buy defaulted payments - similar to the way credit burrow does - but instead of paying the company for it, they spend the time/money to erase the charge or sue the company (if need be) to erase the charges, rather than let a company like Comcast or Dish get their grubby hands on that $23? (I am using rhams $23 as an example, I've owed $150 for some bullshit to t-moble once etc)
Like - I would be happy to pay the $23 or the $150 + 10-20% surcharge - just to know that the shit company I was trying to not pay doesn't get the money. I Know if I spent enough time on the phone I could get the $23 erased, It just isnt worth it because I dont have the strength.
I would wear t-shirts with this company's logo on it for free. It honestly seems like a realistic business model. Especially the way big business practices have eviovled this last decade.

WTB Google Fiber!
Comcast is still the best 500mb/s for 39$ a month, how can you beat that?
Dish is terrible, Verizon is terrible & they lie about speeds...
I used to pay AOL by the minute for 18kb/s so seriously deal with it.
