I don't play either anymore. I don't even really think eq is a great game, it's just addictive. When I stopped playing it felt more like a fix than fun. PVP is probably the worst of any game I've played that has pvp option.

Groups are happening all the time. I just recruited someone from blue who had a 31 cleric on the server already, and he's in a group right now with Uprising who were looking for a healer.

Also, I'm running the guild in a nonpartisan manner. So I'm not recruiting for Azrael, or Nihilum. Just helping people get started on the server. There are Nihilum members in the guild and who have donated to the guild as well.

You could do that for a few weeks without being griefed. Red is an empty server, when they come into threads and say things like "come to red you can just kill them and take the camp" what they really mean is that nobody is "come to red, all camps are open"

Split up what you have to correct the balance of power. Deguild everyone, choose a handful of guild leaders, and do draft picks for everyone else. Then maybe those things will happen on their own.

I don't understand it either, PVP is a HUGE part of mmorpg's and your missing out on a lot of fun. This coming from a person that like's PVE equally as much.

I think ooc scares people off, although I'd be amazed if there aren't equally weird people on blue. So maybe its not so much that, and more the fact that people have obviously never gave pvp a good go in an mmorpg, to the point where they actually get good at it. It's a challenge and takes time, not something you can just instantly become great at... this seems to appeal to most people these days.
