Guild Drama Review - TMO's New Deal

Over the last month or so TMO has been complaining that IB used an old fraps to pressure them into giving us free mobs. The reality of the situation is that on the same night IB was temporarily suspended for camping out in pool room IB frapsed 5 TMO pullers being in xygoz's room within 60 seconds of the mob spawning as well as a TMO necro clearly interfering with our Nexona attempt. This TMO necro still had agro on the dragon and the rest of the train of trash mobs from TMO's 70 man wipe attempt, but chose to remain FDed in the pool room next to IB's raid force instead of clearing his agro and assisting his guild in CRing.

Once Nexona arrived in the pool room Layze from IB grabbed FTE on the mob, then this TMO necro stood up and pulled agro on nexona away from IB's raid force. The dragon pathed around the room towards the necro AoEing IB's raid force the entire time. The necro made no attempt to FD or die faster, and in fact ran off the pools to make Nexona path back around the long way again. This resulted in a full wipe for IB and TMO proceeded to CR and kill the mob before IB could recover.

TMO Leadership was being faced with a possible 2+ week suspension, and worked out a deal with the GMs and IB where IB would receive one free kill of every VP dragon and the next class C VS and CT for free to make up for the full repop IB missed out on while staff looked over IB's petition and evidence. Also it was made clear to TMO that the offending necro should probably stay in TMO's camp during VP from now on.

The weekend where we picked PD as one of our free mobs, TMO had record low member response to their VP batphones. I guess theres no point going to work if the pixel factory is closed?

Yeah you're right, a necro stayed FD next to us for 8+ minutes while his guild CRed for no reason, but a broken mechanic is to blame. He could have prevented the whole situation by simply typing /q , but TMO is clearly the victim in this.

We can go back and forth with little bullshit train stories all day. TMO has them too. Tons of unintentional pull interference occurs in VP. If you want to dig up dirt on tmo this wasn't a good choice. In the end, we got screwed over by a known bug. And still played by the rules even though it lost us all of VP, CT and VS.

So your defense is that a bugged mechanic was to blame and not your necro who still had agro on an entire train of wurms and remained FDed next to the opposing guild's raid force instead of clearing his agro after his guild wiped. Ok you're right guys, you're all victims.

TMO had three officers present. The offer was not IBs. IB offered to serve the remaining time on our suspension and for the new TMO to take their two week vacation.

I was overruled and had to settle for a few mobs.

Dottedup desynced and trained a wurm to entrance and died. The wurm then attacked Rachel and did approximately 800 damage before a TMO necro, Theurgis, tagged the wurm and began kiting it away. IB then chose to pull the wurm off of Theurgis and kill it.

IB would like to see TMO blamed for their choice to pull the wurm off our trainer and kill it. Or maybe you think IB deserves some free dragons because Rachel took 800 damage?

I don't have an excuse, it was a mistake, and I'm not going to argue that it was fair. It's just a result of not coordinating who camps out at the dragon well enough. I will say though, that they were not camped at xygoz. Your fraps starts a long time after she spawns and pullers are still arriving halfway through the video. I believe your argument was "it takes longer than 40 seconds to run here from zone line, we tested it." Which is all fine and good, I agree with you. The rule is you can't have two people camped there, you don't need to exaggerate and say they were right there.

I'll tell you this though, FE/IB was guilty of the same exact thing numerous times, as was TMO during that time. Nobody back then really fought hard to enforce the 2 people past zone line thing. If we had 3-4 arrive at a dragon door at a questionable time it was just assumed the other guild was doing the same thing, as long as it wasn't blatant. You were put in a situation where you had to use that fraps and I don't fault you for it. But I know for a fact it happened many MANY times before that, on both sides. Imo this isn't really comparable to purposely camping an entire raid halfway through the zone. But that's what rules lawyers are for.

Yes, I was on the rogue to open the door. I remember arriving at the door and thinking that this was pretty obviously too many people. We were definitely wrong/neglectful. I remember thinking the same thing a few times on IB/FE raids though. I don't recall any significant petitions resulting from it.

Hitpoint was on Fistn during this encounter. He actually confessed to IB leadership about his participation in breaking the rules while in TMO. This spin now, is just damage control. His confession is what really allowed the GMs to strong arm the new TMO. He was planning on leaving TMO a few weeks ago. But they served up more Kool Aid.

Think you left out the part where instead of Dottedup thinking, "Oh shit, I'm unintentionally raid interfering" and running the dragon towards IB, he instead decided to run over top of the pool to bug out Nexona's pathing, causing it to bounce around while AEing our faces off.

Dottedup fucked up in like 5 different ways, there's no way to spin this particular issue as anything other than intentional raid interference.
