Just because you aren't caught red handed means dick at this point. This is an emulator server. The devs make rules to try to make the community work. The intention is to make this community as strong as possible with these rules. They lay out the rules because thats what they think is right, but at the same time they can pick someone out they hate and ban for no reason if they felt like it. You didn't pay anything for this game, they can change the rules whenever they want. I for one think the server is as good as anyone could hope.

They want the community to be strong and for people to feel like they are treated fairly. It would be a shame for someone that is trying to play honestly to get banned if they were not aware of the rules. Thats why they have the rules, so you know the line and don't cross it.

You are a whole different story, no one wants you here including the devs. They should ban you just for talking in /ooc. They should just ban for anyone acknowledging that they are you or impersonating any variation of your name. There is no reason to hear your side of the story or care. I usually leave them alone if they leave me and my crew alone, the reason my main account is banned at the moment is because DA kept fucking with my guild so I stole their naggy book.

His accounts shouldn't have been banned in the first place. They were banned from whiny bitches over bitch ass rules made up by bitch ass players, and enforced by <blank>. You can train on live and you can train here. It just so happens that it's easier to police 800 people. CSM Rezzes (100% rezzes) were indeed classic, given proof of the need for one.

All part of the policy that you seem to believe only exists on this server and not anywhere on live. The "Play Nice Policy" was enforced as much as it could be by a skeleton staff covering 2-3000 people.

So I did the only thing I could do instinctively upon zone loading and being attacked again... /quit. It must have bugged out your "death" counter, because I only had two corpses when I came back online later, not twelve.

There's a couple layers of irony here because I was one of the folks who was very against removing global chat channels. If I had to choose between a spammer shouting bad porn stories every couple of minutes and exploitative NPC warping/training... I'd say that the former did less actual damage.

GMs do everything for this game and do a tremendous job of it. But if you're going to brag about EC tunnel with a front page news story (http://www.project1999.org/forums/showthread.php?t=8109) you should keep the city streets clean. Enabling cowards by not taking swifter, stronger action empowers them. If their tools and means of causing havoc are removed, then they will get bored and move on - banning just makes them feel greater attention and sets them back about 5-10 minutes.

I got burned by this and it spoiled an afternoon that would have been otherwise a great XP day. But I play the game in spite of this because the parts that are fun still far outweigh the parts that are fucking retarded. I think the majority of players on this server feel similarly.
