How much do you bench/ deadlift / squat ?

Also post your routine so the fatties like Troy / estoclesand susvain can start getting into better shape

I think you mean strongest if you ask for bench deadlift and squat. Fit implies a whole different set of criteria like mile time, # of pullups, situps , v-sit

Not exactly sir. I asked for his entire routine and given the recommended 1 hour regimen of lifting you can tell general fitness levels . Cardio vascular health not necessarily included but gaffin posted his lifting pics

Start with a 3 day split
1 - Chest, shoulders and triceps
2 - Back and biceps
3 - legs
4 - Rest
Then try to mix in 20 mins of cardio a day but also remember 80% of getting fit is what you eat.

Don't forget to do 10 or 11 different variations of curls, preferably in the squat rack while looking in the mirror.

200/340/320 here.

A split routine as in push, pull then legs bro not a 5 day bodybuilder split. You won't get anywhere with full body workouts after a year or so when you are able to work a lot harder and need more time to recover. Also what lifting exercise is going to increase cardiovascular other then doing some dumb ass timed crossfit routine that uses light weights and lots of reps. Unless you want to look like a runner you need to move into a split and with them numbers you posted i'd almost bet that's what you look like at the moment.

Body weight routines with low weight and high reps to keep body fat low but doesn't really build any size.

Go to work to make $$$
Eat Whatever the heck I want cuz I can
Go home and see the misses (great cardio IMO)
Drink Beer, Eat, Play EQ
Bed

Rinse and repeat, who gives a flying hoot about what you can do in the gym, is the US being invaded, do those reps help you out in your day to day life?

Live by doing whatever the hell makes you happy (most guys who want to get all swoll in the gym are doing it to impress other dudes...what does that say about you?)

Squatting 500 doesnt make the bus that hits your crossing the street any less of a mess.

You sir are a idiot, yeah people do what they want, eat what they want, live how they want, its all your opinion and a free country but did you know you could feel better than you do now just by some fitness in your life? Dont hate on it till you start doing it. Most people that are prescribed anti-diepressents dont even need that shit, just exercise and workout, and it could change how you feel about life just doing some basic shit like that. Its pretty sickening how doctors are now days just throwing meds and anti-depressents out to kids who dont even do anything but sit on their ass all day and dont move.

No but lifting weight makes you feel accomplished, turns up your metabolism so you burn more fat and not the carbs you just ate, makes bones stronger, lowers blood pressure and will release lots of endorphins to make you feel less stressed. But hey its your life and if you thinks it's normal to be on 5 different kind of meds by the time your 40 then keep on doing what your doing. Also 90% of people who life are on gear and most people who do lift natural can't really get the "swoll" like you see all over the gym.

this sounds like a clinical depression issue for you sir. If you can only feel accomplished by working out in the gym then I am sorry for you.

I also truly hate people who think throwing random stats at people makes you right.

They have also recently proven that excercise does not significantly impact your overall life expectency - this then becomes a quality of life argument.

While working out might make your bones stronger (though probably not everyone) I would argue that the trade off is having to go to the gym when you could be doing something else.

You have fallen into the old carrot on a stick problem where you will always be chasing happyness, where as I have already found it in doing exactly what I want to do.

But to each their own. Go get all buff and then realize that you will be working for the nerd who doesnt work out and see who ends up happier.

Thanks

i hate to defend gaffin, but he specifically said cut>buff

being cut = getting laid more than fats like me

quality of life issue indeed

also, please pull the studies that say exercise doesn't improve life expectancy .. i haven't seen that and would like to.

When did I say it's the only thing that makes me feel accomplished? It will burn off excess energy that you built up from eating carbs all day and give you a feeling of accomplishment more so then you already do feel. Also why else would you play EQ? Because it can give you the feeling of accomplishment and is that really a bad thing? Also I would love to see where it states that you can eat whatever the fuck you want and sit on your ass all day but still be just as health as the guy who works out on a routine? I think working out to you means getting all jacked and making fun on people smaller then you kinda like the word brings back bad memory's from childhood.

5'10, 235lbs @ 12% currently.

I eat super clean 4200-4500 cals a day.

During the spring I usually keto/carb cycle some body fat off and go down to 215, then start upping the calories again in the fall.

This allows me to look really good for half the year, and be really strong for the other half :P

Mayhem, those are some big numbers. Not calling you out, but would love to see vid of the lifts if it exists. You must be competing if you pushed your total that high.

I love to hear new fat-people rationalizations about why people who look and perform better than them are psychologically inferior. Your chunky ass SHOULD be insecure about the tube of lard around your gut that is damaging your health and preventing you from getting laid. Start doing compound movements and squat 3x a week. It isn't neurotic to be strong, but bodybuilding is disgusting.

250/500/440 here, all recent #s. Bench sucks, but who cares. Leg strength is king.
