Who Do You Want To See Get The Server First Raid Kills In Velius?

I'm fairly new so that explains my opinion. Originally, in January or so when I began playing I really wanted IB to come back and get all the velious server firsts. Back then I hated TMO and bought into all the negative press about them even though my opinion was only based from the forums. Then I met Getsome who is the fucking man. Guy is cool as fuck, cool to talk to and showed respect to my at the time up-and-comming guild. He gated to solb where he was bound somewhere by naggy and solo cleared down by the entrance to Rez me and my group when I barely knew the guy. Since then he's trusting me to transfer mithril arms! Now, I have not lost my fandom for IB but Tiggles voice has propelled TMO to maybe surpass IB for who I want to see get the server firsts in NTOV >ST.

Over time my opinion has changed. I kinda see TMO as the big cool guys who do what they want when they want, I like their confidence/arrogance. I'm not sure who I want to see dominate the server first raid kills in vrlous because IB is not what I assume they use to be. I dislike their new members who act as if they had a part in the past dominance IB had. These new people sometimes also act like they have been tagged/got into IB because of their skill when they have obviously been mass recruited and tagged without posting an application. TMO wasn't at its peak back then and IB isn't at it's peak now I understand that. Sooooooooo who I want to see get the server first kills is..hmmmmmm

Guild drama retarded. The people with the most play time, and most bodies will dominate. I expect my friends at TMO to do very well. If we can get a significant or majority portion, that's no detriment to them. Or otherwise vice versa.

No ones denying that numbers isn't the biggest factor for success. This is just seeing who the server wants to get the server firsts in velious. There can be many reasons

Realistically there's are the three who will makeup all the server firsts major bosses at the moment. I want to see who the server wants to win them and hearths reasons. I find the perspective of members outside these three guilds to be interesting

Because if we keep it real these are the three who will likely get the majority of server first boss kills. No other guild at the moment will take note or sleepers ahead of these three so if you vote there are no other options. You don't have to vote

Who cares? The game will be in a completed state of development (minus time line patches and bug fixes, etc.) after Velious release. Nobody outside of your fellow crazies will care who got the first Velious kills in 4 years.

No. I had a fantastic childhood. Youngest of three brothers, parents were amazing. I stopped carding about school by the 6th bade when I was like 12 because I was playing eq 8hours a day easy. Been addicted to moms my whole life until I was about 19 then I traded it for the needle.

Bottom line is that this server would be a whole lot better if the "hard core" pixel chasers relaxed a little bit and weren't willing to be total dicks to each other over raid targets.

I couldn't possibly care less who gets zerg-raid kills on content they overgear a year+ after it was supposed to be released and over a decade after it was last relevant. Don't think AoW/ST-key mobs won't be zerged down HARD, either. These aren't Sev kills where no one really cares and attendance is more a pride thing than anything else. This is Phara Dar-level stuff and every guild member will turn up.

The whole "server first" thing only applies if there's significant challenge involved. That we have ever tracked server first kills on this server is a little silly. That anyone at all cares about who gets the kills is Velious is pretty dumb IMO.

There is no reason why BDA can't compete in Velious or a lot of other more casual guilds. There are tons of ways to gear up in Velious without poop socking.

I pretty much agree with SCB. The real server firsts happened on Live when people were actually figuring out game mechanics on shitty PCs with 800x600 graphics and 56k modems while going through a content treadmill 5x faster than ours.

Here, I predict there will be at least guilds 5 guilds (TMO, FE, IB, BDA, Taken, and possibly Divinity) that will be able to field 80+ man raids for Velious, with tons of epics and sky gear and strats that they've been practicing for years on Kunark.

There are tons of cool people in IB and TMO and there are a few assholes in both as well.

If velious dropped tomorrow, I think TMO will lead the list of server first kills.

But - we've got a ways to go, and IB is definitely making their move. Same with FE.

Who knows what the end game will look like 6+ months from now.

I hope TMO, IB and FE are 100% raid suspended for the first 90 days of velious. Or even banned from all content in velious. Allow europa, bda, div, and anyone and everyone else to go have a whole bunch of fun without our f*cking bullshit fucking it for everyone else.

Fish through logs find all members and alts, all old IB, DA, TMO, Sup, Asc etc chars, and un flag them from SoV.

TMOIBFE will still get our server firsts. Just 2-3 months later, so to give everyone else some enjoyment in this place for once. Just we wont fuck the entire rest of the server over in doing so. No BDA/div etc is going to kill a aary, vyemm, tunare, or tormax. Maybe a statue and a few west wing dragons, WW dragz/kolo/woushii/lodi/vindi/velk etc.
