anyone that has ever expressed interest in joining our guide program to me has always gotten the "submit an application" response.

it can take an absurd amount of time to hear back. but unless someone replies to deny your application, it hasn't been denied. it's simply being kept on file for when we need more staff.

the other thing is, we want people that can be in it long term. if you can only offer a few hours a week, and only for a few months... well, lets just say i'd prefer some one that can offer up 20-40 hrs a week and can do so for the forseeable future.

so if you dont hear back, dont get discouraged, it just means we're keep it on file for future consideration.
