Pretty sure I was playing EQ while listening to Sirken and some 17 year old girl do a Q&A, not watching other people play.

Are you just too old to play and listen to something/watch while doing so?

I can't imagine anything being more boring for a live feed than Everquest.

I generally watch streaming (if I am not watching Netflix) whilst eating. I am not talented enough to eat, and play at the same time~

No, but you do seem to be the only person who isn't capable of multitasking while playing p99. You only have an excuse if you are a bard.

Most popular streamers are professional players that play "esport" games. People watch to ether improve their game, see what the top level of play of their game is like, or simply as spectator entertainment. I still watch SC2 finals in Korea sometimes even though i haven't played SC2 in years.
As for people watching p1999 EQ1...what are there like 15 viewers? Most of them probably know the streamer personally.

Good streams typically have hardware to run it. Streaming eats resources, even something like EQ.

The good streamers have 50k viewers on a Tuesday when they are trolling as an AD Soraka.

League of legends has more streams in itself than anything else on the Interweb.

I like to listen to shit in the backround while I solo, music, comedy, pr0n, even other people playing EQ to kill the boredom.
