I went to Sky with Ektar. We watched Ektar do this dance of dying, porting, to complete his epic. Then we watched a dark elf cleric get absolutely owned by an Erudite paladin who said...HOHOHO and just started pummeling fools. Then I took my pants off on Kraid's stream. It was awesome. Then I fell from the sky and took a swim in Freeport.

The Spiroc Lord down with seven! (really six, because Nordenwatch took the DT and Ignt died almost immediately afterwards. It's hard for me to see a way to do it with less than 5 really: tank/cleric/enc/enc/DT). After Sakuragi got DTed Azzudnue tanked with nimble for a bit, but it ran out with the Lord at 10-15% or so. Fortunately Mauricewhite and I were able to prove the superiority of the Enchanter class yet again: his pet enraged while mine killed the Lord from behind! Unfortunately I was blinded by that stupid bird just after repositioning my pet and was unable to get any good screenshots :(

As much as I like bragging about killing the Spiroc Lord with seven we wouldn't mind a few more people to make our clears slightly less heroic, so if you are interested in joining the most pro guild on the server, chat with an officer!

I was making more of an observation than implying anything.

If I'm implying something, it's that IB knew that the people of A-Team wouldn't give enough of a shit to actually drop what they were doing to go up to claim our Sky, even though we're scheduled for it.

IB knew that if they just hustled up there and made themselves comfortable, A-Team wouldn't actually go up and fight for anything.

You could have picked any other time besides sunday at 7:30, but you didn't.

Any of us that have experience with mmos (especially original EQ) knows that the big bad evil guild is whoever is at the top.

That's what people don't get a lot of the time - Lets say TMO, IB, FE etc all didn't exist....

You'd have a new big bad guild in no time flat.... and it'd likely be the people crying about the big bad guilds now doing it.

No. Rusty Long Swords was the first guild on p99. We hunted crushbone and shit. Fine Steel Long Swords was started by some jerks as a "LOL WE'RE BETTER" guild. Several RLS moved to FSLS, but also some went to trans. Later, while hunting in Mistmoore, IB was born from FSLS and trans members, each fed up with the BS from their respective guilds, and in full knowledge that with this crew we had, we could plow nagafen in a couple weeks. Pretty sure one of the proposed names was Combine Long Swords, which someone really should do.

After your neighbors complained and you apologized they politely accepted your apology and thought the matter was settled. Then they found you bragging down at the nearby pub about how "your dog shits wherever it god damn pleases" (think Rounders) and the next day they did indeed find another turd on their lawn. It wasn't quite as big as the last one, but at this point they are starting to think you are just fucking with them.

Some random low lvl in FP asked me for a heal as I ran by, I was about to heal them until I saw the IB tag, so I said "No" to their request and left.
