I love my job (I do php/database for a particular university department) - it is fulfilling and flexible. I can work 40 hours a week or I can work 0. I can work a good number from home if I so desire. My boss offered me a salary in an effort to lock me into working 40 hours a week, but I declined since I'm planning to get out West and try something different. It really stinks being able to do whatever I want!

The winters really suck. Clean, though. Good outdoor stuff in the nice weather. Good music and theater scenes, couple of good museums. The Metrodome sucks and Target Center isn't much better. The winters really, really, really suck.

I know that feel. While the first two were amazing Rebuild 3 on it's own was a mess though I reserve final judgement till I watch part 4.

I prefer to categorize anime as a medium or artform/style. I find it hard to call it a genre when in itself it contains all types of genres known.

The problem with finding shows that you like is that there's in essence too much to choose from these days and while most of it is enjoyable, not all genres are for all people and most people stateside can't get past certain recurring tropes and tend to trash shows entirely without giving them a chance.
