There are only so many positions these corporations have and if every single school child is convinced they must fork over absurds amount of money in there college endeavors, it will only be a matter of time before that bubble bursts and mass amount of people with absolutely no trade skills will have no where to work while attempting to pay back the insane amount of interest rates that these loans and grants and produced.

Can't say I learned a terrible lot going to college. The only books I bought generally were math books, literally every other class I could have taught better than the instructor. Maybe that's why I got summa cum laude, and is why I'm going for phd to milk government grant money on worthless research projects while I halfass teach on the side.

I got food stamps for a while, once. Switched up jobs and was only making about $1,100 a month since it was part time, but it qualified for food stamps, about $150 bucks a month. Once I went full time it was gone. I think in my state, WA. You'd only need to hit a certain income rate (I believe below $1,300 a month) for certain state benefits. I'm not sure about medical/cash benefits, they're pretty tough on that, I think you MUST have kids in order to qualify.

If I wasn't so determined to get full time into the company I'm pretty sure I could have just stayed around 1,000 a month and kept collecting benefits forever.
